I had an emergency tooth problem. After I gave her the prescription she gave me 35 minuets time to pick up I told her I cannot wait that long because the pain is very heavy, she ignored that. I came on time and the pharmacy wasn’t busy, they makes me wait another 30 minuet. It was a birthday party and they were singing while I’m in struggling to get the pills and kill the pain.And some costumer old woman told me I shouldn’t wait that long. After. They lost one of my medicine OMG. Takes me one hour to get it.The problem is I asked the pharmacist if there is a roles or consideration for the emergency cases. And she said yes we have to give it to you right away. And it was a mistake and we are sorry.What I want to say here please follow the roles and do your job very well and be nice with sick people and give them the PRIORITY.

Unfortunate experience with my first time at Costco’s Pharmacy. I arrive to drop off my prescription. I informed the lady this is my first time and I do not have insurance - no problem. She asked me if I had any allergies a few times, I reassured her I do not (not that I know of) and told me it will take 30 minutes to fill - no problem. On the prescription indicated by my doctor was written NO SUB. I arrived to pick up the medication, payed in full. I was then asked if I had taken this antibiotic before and if I’d like to speak with the doctor. Since I have not taken it before I thought that would be a smart idea and agreed to speak with the pharmacist. Only when I met with the pharmacist was informed this medication is GENERIC brand??? How can a company so big as Costco oversee something like this and continue to process my bill without even informing me. The pharmacist sincerely apologized and said sometimes the system says they have certain medication in stock which they may not so they sub it with generic and he could issue me a refund. The problem is, although I am very lucky I do not have any allergies, if this happened to someone else and they did not request to speak to the pharmacist they would NOT be informed this is a generic sub and someone could die.I never leave reviews but I wrote this out of concern for others. Do better Costco.

Friendly staff and good prices, but expect to wait a long time to be served. There are 5 registers and often only one person serving, even when the queue has 5 or more people waiting.

I want to praise pharmacist crewKELAN.I dropped by there to take new prescriptions and I met him. He explained detail how and when I take my old and new medicines morning or evening.It was so thankful !Thank you.

This pharmacy regularly run out of medications then change your prescription to another med which may be generic or not. This would be fine if they told you prior to filling as there are often price differences. Today I called in an order and arrived for pickup only to be told they lost the medication and they again switched my meds because the generic was on back order (which it always seems to be). This is unacceptable as the meds are for a child and are normally covered by OHIP. I can’t help but feel that this is just a scam on the pharmacies part as this happens all the time, the frequently do not have generic and can charge more for brand.

I spoke to a pharmacist yesterday who told me he has processed a 30-day extension on my meds and to come pick it up in the morning. At 3 pm today (next day) I showed up to pick up my meds and surprise surprise it was not processed. Zip, nada, not even a note of our conversation. I do not blame the staff. I blame management. Your people are overworked, tired and unhappy. All of wish reflects on their quality of work. Stop trying to save a buck ( I'm not sure if you layoff) but you are understaffed. Stop playing with people's lives.

On Wednesday I went for my refill, pills for my knee pain and I had that time sever pain and lady told me I don't have any refill., Then I showed her my previous container the slip on container had I more refill.If I was not aware that I have one more refill. Then I have to go again doc. And wait over there then again come back.That pharmacy not taking serious people problems and lady had very attitude like she is giving me free..Seriously....

Costco has better pricing but the customer service is awful. The lines are very long and they take forever with your prescription. I would pay the few bucks more for better service.
