We’ve been wanting to eat here since we moved to Calgary, and it didn’t disappoint. Fantastic food, attentive and kind staff, beautiful interior. Well worth it.

If you are Indian , please do not consider this , you will have some expectations and the food will be nowhere near. Ambience is attractive, servers are good , they do their best , but I don’t know what’s with their food , it’s just not it . Quantity is very very less . We ordered we ordered Papdi Chaat and vegetable Chop , we were literally searching for Papdi in Paapdi Chaat and when Vegetable Chop came , it was served with 3 pieces in a fancy way on a small plate , costs around $14- $15 i guess . I was in shock and at that point my partner was like let’s just leave the ordered food , pay and leave . I still made him wait for the main course , naan came , all burnt , and we ordered salad , came with no chillies because the Paneer was literally tasteless , so we asked the server for chillies , they charged us extra for one green Chilli . I was shocked and irritated at that point . Server was really good and did his job really good , but they failed miserably with the food. (. The picture is only of half naan , the other piece was burnt too and tasted so bad to eat )

Food was extremely average and flavourless. This restaurant is mainly for non-south Asian people since the food was bland and white washed. Naans were not crispy and very doughy. Paneer was chewy and gravy was so sweet with no masala. Dal Makhani was decent. Condiments were not served with food. The vibe was really nice. They have outdoor seating too but cause of the rain it was closed. Servers were great too and were well informed about Indian dishes.Recommended for the atmosphere, not the food.

I don’t know why this is rated as 4.2 stars. I’ve been to so many restaurants and this one always ranks top 3 for me. It is the best Indian food I have ever had. Sadly they do change the menu from time to time so they no longer serve kale pokoras and the mushroom curry that I both loved…that being said I love the new beef curry they have and the butter chicken is always 10/10. Their Kati rolls are delicious and I’ve recently tried this squash dish from the « grill » section of the menu and immediately fell in love.I’ve also never had a drink from here that I didn’t like. The only thing that I can’t speak to is the desserts. I’ve had them once or twice and thought they were good not great, but I’m not even going there for the dessert anyways.I’ve done dine-in and takeout and I loved both.

Overall had a good experience at the Calcutta Cricket Club! Came here for a birthday dinner with my husband and a good friend. We were seated at a smaller bar-sized table; was a bit cozier than we were expecting. We did come on a Friday night, so it was busy and difficult to have conversation with eachother. If you like an energetic vibe, this is a good atmosphere for that. For the food itself, it's more modern Indian/fusion compared to authentic so if you are open to trying a different twist on classics, this is a good spot to go. The Momos were our favorite dish, absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh, hot, and well prepared. The service was attentive. Items were cleared off the table in a quick and efficient manner, and we never ran out of water. We did leave a generous tip (35%) but did not receive acknowledgement after we paid.

Food was good but pricey. The British chips" were just regular french fries and probably shouldn't be advertised as British chips. Service was odd... We kept getting food we hadn't ordered and had to tell the servers the food wasn't ours. Had one spill sauce all over the table and floors and multiple servers interrupting our conversation."

The CCC never disappoints, and it’s even better during happy hour. This time we had the Papri Chaat along with the amazing butter chicken. Topped off with the feature cocktail (see photos). Always lovely here in late afternoon with the sun streaming into the 17th Ave windows.

First thing I would like to mention is the ambience, very simple yet classy. We tried a lot of non veg and veg dishes, and none of the dishes disappointed us. Food was really fresh and tasty. I would highly recommend trying their Kathi Rolls and Chicken Tikka Masala with Rice. The staff was very polite and helpful.Service was a bit slow.
