What a pleasure it has been to deal with the highly professional and courteous staff at Tratech Mechanical Ltd., who installed our new furnace, a/c unit and water heater. This company delivers and their prices are certainly reasonable, given the quality of their work. I really cannot recommend them highly enough.

Tratech supplied and installed a Veissmann propane boiler floor heating system and tied into the existing Electric boiler system so we could utilize either system with a 2 minute switchover routine. The dual system has worked flawlessly for 4 years. I recently discovered a leak in some threaded and soldered fittings in the original piping and stopped to talk to them about my idea for a repair. Traven explained why my idea would not likely work and suggested an alternate method using a Propress fitting and promptly ordered the fitting for me and supplied the press tool so I could complete the repair. Service above and beyond!!!

25 years as a landlord across two Provinces and these are the best plumbers I've come across. The hot water heater in a 13 unit apartment died (on a weekend) and they were able to keep it going and install an entirely new system so none of my tenants went without hot water. Top quality workmanship and service. Professional crew that stayed quite late and worked overtime to ensure that the job was done right before going home. Fair pricing with excellent work, would highly recommend.

The staff at Tratech are unbelievable. Always very friendly, professional, and accommodating. We recently had issues with extremely high iron and other sediment concerns with our water. The team at Tratech came out and did an assessment, tester out water, and returned the results quickly. They provided a very reasonable quote for a new water system. When they came to replace everything, the technician Cory was very kind, and accommodating to my work schedule. We were very impressed with the plumbing service from Tratech mechanical. The fellow we had, Ryan, was quick, efficient, knowledgeable and courteous. We would not hesitate to use them again. I also found the invoice to be well laid out and the price to be very affordable!

A caution!I read these great reviews here and thought I was choosing the best company to sell and install a heat pump system at my home in Riondel.I talked by phone with Traven and sent complete floor plans and was given the option of heat on one floor or both. I chose the both and paid the $6500. I assumed I was going to be able to replace my electric baseboard heaters. Only when heating season came and temps dropped to around 2c did I find that it was unable to heat the main installed area even to 20c.A month after reporting this the installers came by and told me it was operating correctly, and I was charged for this ten minute visit.Tratech has given no response to the fact that the system is too undersized to meet my intended use. A disappointing and discouraging relationship with Tratech and heat pumps.

We have really appreciated all the work Traven, Stu, Jordan, Seth, Corey, and the rest of the Tratech crew have done for us here at The Harbour at Riondel. It's hard finding good/trustworthy contractors, and Tratech is one of the most trusted companies we deal with. They always have our best interest's in mind, and aren't afraid to think out of the box when it comes to solving our various heating, plumbing, air conditioning and refrigeration needs. Highly recommend them to anyone needing work done.

Tratech supplied and installed a heat pump and ducting in our home which is almost 100 years old, so it came with issues. Traven and his crew were easy to deal with and very accommodating. Devin and Devon did the majority of the installation and they were awesome, they spent hours in my attic in this heat to get my heat pump, and duct work installed so I had air conditioning during this heat wave.They were polite, courteous and efficient. There were a few glitches due to suppliers and the house itself, but they handled them without any issues. They took pride in the work that they did. The estimate I was given was the amount I was invoiced. I highly recommend Tratech

I purchased a heat pump from Tratech Mechanical, located in Creston BC this summer during the heat spell. I could not be more pleased with their product and knowledgeable installers. Traven and his staff knew exactly what I needed, going above and beyond to make sure the job was done properly. This is a company that I would highly recommend to work for you, and with a level of business integrity that you can trust.

I called Tratech at 12:22 pm informed Traven as to what needed to be done! I needed a new hot water tank. I had tried changing heaters to fix it.. but I had no success. At 1:06pm I got a call, I am grateful. Speedy service!! Great work! Tom was great. Even though the poor guy had such a tight space to work he was efficient, tidy and very polite. And even though we had to life it over my vanity. He was patient. A huge shout out to Tratech Mechanical! Thanks for the great service today!!
