Best Shawarma in town!! Always great service and fresh food. They have a great designated area for Gluten Free options which is great for someone Celiac or gluten intolerant. Great for all the family with a big variety and portion are generous. Oh and the garlic sauce is so tasty!! Definitely worth the drive there.

I’ve come to Garlic King multiple times, and every time the service is wonderful and the food is delicious. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I can’t have gluten nor dairy, and Garlic King is one of the places I’m happy to safely eat.

What a great experience we had, my daughter, my wife and I when we went to Garlic King for the first time on June 17th ! The King was there with what seemed his Queen and the VIP like service we got was phenomenal. They made us taste everything we wanted before buying, offered us a gluten free dessert on the house and all that, with a smile. Thanks again for the great experience, we'll meet again soon for sure. Celiac safe. Awsome food, clean place and well managed. We all recommend.

Amazing healthy alternative with friendly service , great salads (try the spicy chickpeas ), lots of shawarma meat options and reasonable prices. Exceptional garlic and a must stop if you are in the area.

Amazing experience. Customer service is off the charts. Everyone working there are genuine. Every customer was happy and evidently as satisfied as I was! The food is fresh, healthy and super delicious. The hummus is excellent and the taboulie is authentic. In fact, everything is authentic. He really is the Garlic King! There is even an area staged to have your photo taken or a selfish ib the throne of the Garlic King! There is also a children's menu. There is also a wonderful selection of Gluten free options. Prices are very reasonable. I cannot say enough about the personable, adorable, genuine customer care. I highly recommend to everyone.#localguide

Disclaimer: I ordered food from The Garlic King via Skip the Dishes, so I have no idea what their in-house service or atmosphere is like. Left the star rating for those as neutral (3 stars). This is purely about the food we ordered.I ordered chicken shawarma with rice and garlic potatoes for myself and a vegetarian platter for my partner. I am not exaggerating when I say that it was the worst food we've ever ordered. My chicken shawarma was the best part, and it was still below average in taste. The rice was rubbery in texture, and the garlic potatoes were soggy. The falafel in the vegetarian platter was extremely dry, and the rice and potatoes suffered the same sad fate as my own. You can't be a proper shawarma" place and ruin garlic potatoes... it's a travesty.Out of 5 kings

It was a true pleasure to get to know the Garlic King, has excellent service, very friendly and welcoming staff, and they truly make the best (and healthiest) garlic sauce I have ever tasted.Thank you for making it a great experience, especially during the month of Ramadan :)

Extended family dinner with 10 people ordered two family chicken plates for takeout. It fed us all and still had leftover fatoush, garlic potatoes, rice, pita and chicken. Made for a great lunch the following day for three of us. Great to see Dave again. Been coming here whenever I'm back in town from British Columbia since 1998. Consistently good food, friendly staff and quick service.

Came here because I wanted to meet the Garlic King and try his famous shawarmas. I was not disappointed. Met him and he is as exceptional as his food is.I got spicy chicken wrap and a mix wrap and I couldn’t believe how fresh it tasted. Their chicken isn’t as juicy as I’d hoped for but it is still amazing. Their veggies add so much flavour and compliment to the freshness of the chicken. This shawarma place is a must try to all Ottawa residents.They also have a gluten free menu which is so great. And they also offer a big variety of food so don’t only try their wraps.

This place is horrible. First of all the old man cashier was super rude. It was my first time at this place and dint realize they make shawarmas different ways and he spoke to me like i was stupid and kept saying there you go to me like whats wrong with him... the potatoes are disgusting and are under cooked these are not real garlic potatoes... and the chicken is flavourless and cold what a waste of money.
