Me and my wife stayed here last night. First of all the owner is super welcoming, we arrived around 3pm, their spa and pool indoor is only open till 5pm coz its low season however he gave us a couple minutes more to enjoy the indoor pool and sauna. He made sure we had everything we need before he left for the night. If we could only stay longer we wouldve stayed for another night or so but definitely will come back soon. The view from our room (we stayed at 401 ) is breathetaking. Again thank you so much for the great experience.

To the people who say this place needs to be updated are crazy they r used to a certain type of hotel. This place is very charming. That is what is good about it. Its the old feel of this place that makes it so nice. The room we were in was very nice with a great view. Service was top notch. We had a nice view of the lake and mountains. Seriously to those complanimg about this place needs updating are crazy. It has been renovated but not much to keep the feel of this place. Which is rustic and just homey. We came in winter. But plan to come in summer as well

Welcoming, friendly and cozy hotel-spaThe outdoor jacuzzi were amazingly relaxing, the indoor pool was a bit too cold FOR ME.Other than that, the hotel is not outdated, but the building is old. Two different things. The rooms are super comfortable, the Neurobed was the cherry on top.But the best for me was the cleanliness of the hotel, specially around the pool and Jacuzzis. I've been to hotels that I won't go back due to the lack of cleanliness, but this one I will definitely return.Even though the hotel is not really focused to kids, I could enjoy every moment with my family (8yo son).

We have been here four times so far over a few years now and at different times of the year. We have enjoyed our weekends of becoming totally relaxed after the outdoor hot tubs and then maybe a steam treatment. In summer you have access to the beach and kayaking across the street. Staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant is no longer open but there are places to go minutes away. We recommend staying here.

This place needs big time renovation. This has the potential to be a great place for stay, but I guess the management is just not bothered. Parking during winter was tricky, they have lot of space but not properly marked or guided which leads to a lot of chaos when u go up to the reception area. Better to park at the bottom and walk to the reception. The rooms were decent, but again it's high time that they need renovation. The hot tub is the star attraction here and I am.not happy with the cleanliness of the water.

Stayed 2 nights for a romantic getaway and it was perfect. The hotel is very clean + has great amenities. The room was very cute and the staff were very welcoming. We will definitely be coming here again!

We stayed here for 2 nights. The staff was polite and very welcoming. This place has got many amenities - jetted tubs (indoor and outdoor), pool, sauna, fire place (indoor and outdoor). It was maintained well. The jacuzzis look new and clean. It is not modern or posh but it is beautiful in its own way. The place was peaceful with beautiful lake view. It was my husband’s birthday and we cut the cake outside, the staff provided cutlery and plates before we asked them :) . Overall pleasant and relaxing experience.

My 2nd birthday spending it here and this time it well surpassed the first time. I had a great Birthday evening in this wonderful private room. I highly recommend the suites as it has a Lovely hot tub, private balcony, nice king size bed with vibrations and relaxation music... it was a nice bonus. Only thing it needs is more lights, a phone to contact front desk and uh a smoke ditector... this is a must. All in all I had a great time and really looking forward to coming back.

We absolutely loved our stay. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, our room was clean with great beds and a cozy feel, and the whole place felt like a comfy home away from home. We were drawn to the place for the spa and hot tubs and were not disappointed. So relaxing!

We stayed for 2 nights in April at Hotel Spa Watel, from the moment we arrived at the reception we were impressed with a very warm welcome from the staff. They made us feel very comfortable going around and using the hotel amenities.We had our meals in the city, as we like to go out, so I can't comment on their food service.Very clean, quiet and definitely a good option for a getaway. Definitely returning.
