Such a beautiful setting, with an incredible view. The house is charming, and the history of Barbara and A C Leighton are ever so interesting! True Alberta artists! There is a great gallery featuring work from contemporary and accomplished, local artists. The place is a vibrant art community. A great place to visit and enjoy a picnic lunch, overlooking the valley, the foothills, and the mountains. A great place to bring visitors!!

Leighton Art Centre
I took my class for a program in December and it was amazing and definitely worth it! We did the clay owls project. The students got a tour of the museum, a nature walk, a sketchbook plush a drawing lesson, and an art project. The views are stunning and the program and instructors are great! I would recommend teachers do their programs with their classes.

Love this place, it is so peaceful just minutes. I am of course biased as I do have art there also. It provides an awesome venue for artist of all levels. The staff are so positive and friendly. The Christmas in the country sale right now is a great show and a great afternoon for the family.

Went to camp here when I was a kid. Jist visited for the first time in years, for a function they had going in and it was jist as beautiful as I remembered... Amazing views. Love the green room.

Always a great destination for nature and art lovers. Get there early as you will want to spend hours. The Alberta foothills vistas are incredible. Admission is by donation of your choosing.

Extraordinary place to visit with incredible views. The main building has artwork and exhibits on display, and also art from local artists that is for sale. Do spend some time walking through the grass trail (about 3km in total). Highly recommended.

It's my first year to take my kids to the art summer camp and THEY LOVE IT SOOOO MUCH!!!!!!I like the environment where they can learn art in the nature area.
