Rejoice Pet Salon

Took our two dogs in for a short cut. They shaved the poodle too close sand she had razor burn and scabbing. Have never had that problem before. Disappointing.

Not good with puppies, they seem to subscribe to a philosophy of just forcing it on the dog rather than taking the time to acclimate the dog to something like clipping their nails.They don't really seem to care about dogs.Would not recommend for puppies.Edit: In response to the owner's comments below 1) I called asking specifically for my type and age of dog, 2) you repeatedly attempted to grab my dog's paw while she was visibly scared to force a quick nail cut on her in the lobby of your salon 3) she is not aggressive 4) you seem to have no tact nor care of dogs if you're always worried about getting bit because otherwise nonaggressive dogs are being provoked by your inept handling of them 5) why bother opening a salon?

I've been taking my dog here for about a year now. Her cuts always look great, staff are friendly and accommodating, and their prices are reasonable. Definitely recommend.

In my opinion, Rejoice Pet Salon is the best pet salon in Vancouver! I have a mini goldendoodle, and they do her cuts perfectly, everytime; plus, they are very kind and understanding with things like appointment changes (as I have a job that often calls for last-minute schedule changes, and Rejoice was great about it when it impacted Bella's grooming schedule once). I would highly recommend them for your dogs! Very professional and always a great job.

All of my 4 dogs love to be groomed in Rejoice! They do excellent job for my dogs and have awesome customer service! I will definitely recommend this place to my friends.

I have lovely, long haired, black cat. I take him to get a lion's cut, about 3 times a year and I've been doing this for 9 years. Normally I take him to the wonderful Groom Room on Oak St., but I had 1 day off and couldn't get him in there so I thought I'd try somewhere near my home, which brought me to Rejoice.I dropped him off and over an hour later I received a call that they didn't want to cut his hair because he seemed mad with the dogs around. I explained to her over the phone that it should be fine since he's been having this done for 9 years, without any issues. He has NEVER scratched or bitten a vet or a groomer. Yet, they wouldn't do it and I had to go pick him up.... after he'd already been put through being loaded into the car and then sitting in a room of barking dogs for over an hour.Does a cat normally like having barking dogs around? Does a cat normally like to be manhandled, bathed and shaved? NO, not while it's happening. He loves how he feels after, especially in the summer when it gets too hot for his heavy black coat, so it's worth it.My question is, why offer cat grooming services if you're not actually going to groom them? There's no way that any cat in there is over the moon while being groomed. So to not cut a cat's hair because they seem mad, is insane to me.Don't operate an animal grooming salon if you're scared of getting a scratch!I learned my lesson from straying this one time from The Groom Room. They aren't scared of cats there, they are excellent with animals, and they do a fantastic job.

I was so impressed My dog looks so fabulous.smells like heaven would. His fur is like angel hair .It was his first rooming .My boy dog is large and still young.I was worried he would misbehaves. The groomers must be one with the dogs.I will be a regular customer at Rejoices.THANKS REJOICE YOU ARE AWSOME
