Horrible experience. I contacted Alfredo to visit an appartement on 2045 avenue elmhurst. I had to call him multiple times because no one was at the building for the visit. He said they were running 20 minutes late. Called again after 25 minutes, he said he was going to text me to let me know when he would be getting there. Never texted me, waited for over 45 min and no one showed up.Completely unprofessional! I can only imagine how horrible it must be to be their tenants. The building looked really old and dirty from the outside.Don't waste your time doing business with them.

5735 Rue St. Hubert is a great and convenient place to live in Montreal. Metro, Bus, Supermarkets, Churches, Banks, restaurants, Parks .. everything is near to this awesome place. Thanks Yuliv for your service for these 2 years. Thanks Alfredo

So my roommate just had ANOTHER issue with Yuliv even though we both no longer live in Yuliv properties anymore so here is a list of things to be wary of when renting with them/tales of our struggles with the company. My current roommate and I lived in two different Yuliv properties last year and both had trouble with them throughout the year and after moving out of their property in May they just withdrew rent money for her account for this September after she had already informed them multiple times she was moving out and wanted the lease to be cancelled well before the deadline last year. She had to go to their office today to ask them to give her her money back and they pushed back and tried to blame the issue on her until she showed them the emails she had sent months ago asking for the lease to be cancelled. Most important tip for dealing with Yuliv: RECORD EVERYTHING!!!! Save pictures and videos of any damages and repair requests you send to them as well as any emails you send. Make sure that anything you talk about over the phone or in person you get some sort of written receipts for (email them to confirm, etc.).List of issues my roommate had in her Yuliv apartment:- given wrong code to apartment door so her roommate was forced to sleep on the ground outside the door of the apartment the first night she was there- apartment was not cleaned at all before move in following its use as an Airbnb- door for street entrance to Yuliv apartments (only 2 in building) did not lock and was never fixed even after Yuliv was informed multiple times- Yuliv failed to fix outside balcony door for weeks after issue was reported so the door flew off of its hinges during the first stormList of issues I had in my Yuliv apartment (considerably longer):- water would shut off at random times for two or so hours- water had rocks in it for weeks and Yuliv came twice to address the issue and failed to fix it both times- heater in the basement broke causing our apartment to be freezing for nearly a month in the middle of winter (temperatures inside dropped as low as 11C/52F while the heat was set at 25C)- lack of heat caused the pipes on the first floor to freeze multiple times- sewer backed up into our downstairs bathroomOverall we both found this company to be incompetent, unhelpful, and overall more of a headache than any semi-nice apartment is worth.Saying all this, I am sure there are people who have had better experiences with the company maybe in different apartments or with different property managers in charge of their units so all I can comment on is our experiences (under the same property manager)Good luck in your apartment search!

I’m pretty surprised to see these type of comments regarding YULIV.My experiences were clearly different.I had been living in one of their McGill ghetto properties for a couple of years on my own before needing a roommate for personal financial reasons: they accommodated me and found me a property in the plateau in which I was able to have a couple of roommates. I explained my situation and they did the best they can to help me based on their available units. Also, they ALWAYS addressed any issue I had with the two apartments I lived in...and there were not many.I feel I needed to respond to the negative review left by the last person because from my experience, the staff at YULIV treated me with compassion and professionalism throughout the years...and even more so when i was in a rut. And it’s safe to say that my friends (whom I have recommended YULIV properties) have had only good things to say.

I stayed with YULIV for two years. I would definitely NOT recommend staying at their apartments. Unless you are staying in a $4000+/month residence, the apartments you'll get will be old, poorly rennovated, with deffective appliances and terrible accomodation. Although my rent was not high, my roommates and I paid extremely high hydro bills due to old appliances as well as poor insulation. On the other hand, as our lease was ending, we would be getting random appartment visits without any notice. When reporting these visits to the administration, they would respond in a rude manner. Additionally, service people would enter the appartment without knocking. Their service app does not let you know in advance when anyone would come to the appartment. In general, it was a terrible experience and I do not recommend any student moving into a YULIV appartment.

The summary of my experience with Yuliv:Amazing place to stay in and great people to deal with.I needed a furnished apartment in Montreal in a challenging timeline and Ali and his team were able to get me a gem at a really affordable price. At the center of the city with beautiful and modern furniture and all the necessary appliances. All of this 2 minutes away from my work.I will definitely use their service again if I need a well-furnished apartment in the city and will advise anyone to do the same. Thanks Ali & the Yuliv team!

I am a healthcare worker and YULiv was very generous in providing my collegues and I with accommodation during this pandemic to allow us to protect our families from infection. They were very easy to deal with, very professional, fast and prompt. The appartment is beautiful, well located and very practical for us to complete our duties.I am very thankful to have dealt with Immobilier YULiv.

Before I forget, I would like to thank Alfredo for his wonderful communication and willingness to cooperate through problems. Always accesible and kind. For Yuliv: In my experience as a tenant for almost one year living in their building on St. Denis, they are a professional and responsible agency who are quick to reply to any concerns you may have as a tenant. Never had any issues with them so far. Recommended!

We had to find a furnished apartment for our son who was going into his second year of university in Montreal. We live in BC so you can imagine how hard it was for us to be so far from our son. I emailed a million times to both Ali and Alfredo and they always answered right away. They always provided a response to our questions and when my son needed anything in the apartment tended to, they responded and attended to whatever the issue was. It was a pleasure dealing with them and I had peace of mind being so far from my son! Thank you Yuliv!
