Canada West RV and Truck

Donna was great to deal with for a new camper and picked up our trade with no issues. Found out our trade in had water damage that was not told to us when we bought it a year before off another dealership. Steve said he would fix it and made us feel good for we had no idea we bought it like that. We will always deal with canada west!!

Obviously sales and finance were good. Delivery had troubles and unit was not prepped well for delivery. Blinds were not replaced and then we were given house blinds to install ourselves. Hardware was not correct had to go buy screws. No after sales service to provide other parts not fixed. Would not buy from them again. Given one star cause no zero. Our first trailer and negative experience.

As I am preparing for another camping season I am thinking over the last year since I purchased a Chaparral 285RLS Fifth wheel from Tammy Walker at Canada West RV. To this point I have used this trailer for five weeks and am very pleased with it. Much of the equipment is of better quality than my last trailer. There is a marked improvement in things such as the entertainment system, shower, toilet and lighting. It has a good-sized pantry, a kitchen island and leather furniture. It is equipped with the “Dexter EZ Ride” suspension which definitely improves the ride. I find it pulls a little easier than my last trailer which was the same size but a bit lighter. Prior to owning this unit, I had no real interest in having an outdoor kitchen, however I am quite fond of it now. When I was researching the structural strength and design of this unit I stopped in with some questions and since Tammy wasn’t in, Donna offered to help me. She promptly put the phone on speaker and called the manufacturer and we discussed the design and the information which I desired. Very shortly thereafter Tammy received the info which I requested. As can be the case with any new vehicle I had occasion to go back for warranty. Canada West staff fixed the issues with absolutely no charge to me.Obviously the most important consideration when making a purchase is to get what you want at a good price. Another consideration when I am evaluating any business is to determine whether they are interested in what is best for me. Any good business person wants you to think that they are your friend. In my opinion it is important when treating a customer like a friend is a sincere desire rather than simply a business strategy. I have experienced this to be the case at Canada West. My dealings with Tammy have been very good. The staff at this dealership have displayed a good attitude and have taken care of my needs. In fact, I am pleased when I have a reason to go there. On one occasion I had a discussion with the owner and I was definitely impressed with her attitude.Although we anticipate this being the last trailer we buy, I definitely would deal at Canada West RV again.

Steve and the staff at Canada West go above and beyond for you! I’m a brand new RV buyer and he made sure I knew everything about my new wheels before leaving the lot. He even followed me to my house and helped me park it. Highly recommend this business and am super happy with the customer service I received. Even though I was super grumpy one day (nervous to spend a large amount of money) they were so sweet and welcoming ! 10/10

Excellent experience with the parts and service department, always willing to help even when they are busy. I highly recommend giving them a call with your questions or needs. Very speedy with getting you the parts you need.

It was my first time buying a camper and I am very happy with my purchase. I got a great deal and the camper, which was used, was extremely clean and in very good shape. I was treated with respect by both Terry and Steve throughout the whole process. They explained everything and made sure that I understood how to work everything. I would definitely tell friends and family to shop there.

Steve and his RV team went to great lengths to repair my motorhome slideout.They had frustrations when the wrong parts were sent from Lippert (twice), parts that were damaged in transit, and to top it off, repaired damage when some bonehead backed his trailer into my unit while parked in their yard.I received a full walk through of all repairs done, and some pointers on the unit from the RV Tech who did most of the work.Thanks again.

We had to downsize our trailer after not even having it for a year. We came to Canada West to look at Winnie's (and for a shorter trailer). Donna was so helpful and really did her best in working with us. Steve was very helpful when we came to pick-up our new trailer; ensuring we had everything out of our old trailer and making sure everything was in place with our new trailer. I feel very confident that if we have any problems that they will be totally rectified. We now love our Winnebago! Thank you.
