Stowell pumps is my go to place. Randy is always very knowledgeable and very helpful. He has a great selection of pumps, filtration systems and water softeners.

I tried Armstrong circulator pumps (Astro line) and they work well and the price is competitive. Stowell stocks the sizes used in my system. The guys behind the counter know their stuff unlike some of the parts counters around town. Stowell is my go to place for circulators now.

Knowledgable staff and very helpful when we were purchasing, but when it came time to make a return, the tone changed and I felt berated and was made to feel like an inconvenience for being a residential customer and not a contractor making a large purchase. I wasn't aware of a 20% restocking fee at the time of purchase of a $700 pump that we purchased for a cistern repair (turned out the hose was the issue and not the pump). When I came to return the unopened pump, I was informed of a sign on the side wall which I didn't see at the time of purchase and was told ''we aren't Home Depot'' and ''I need to keep the lights on and food on the table''. Appreciated the expertise of the initial staff who helped us and appreciated the staff member, who I think was the manager, lowering the restocking fee to 10%, but was made to feel pretty small overall by this employee. I'd recommend posting the info about restocking fees on the counter and mentioning it at the time of purchase and treating all customers kindly. After our initial experience, we had planned to work with these guys to source everything for a septic project, but won't be returning.

The staff at Stowell pumps really know their products and have the knowledge to back it up. In just a few minutes we were able to sort out the exact type of pump needed for my requirements and they even had inventory in stock. As a guy with zero previous experience in this area Stowell pumps has been a valuable resource that I will recommend in the future.
