I wish I would have also read all these posts as well before entrusting my daughter or myself in Dr. Scramstead’s care. Same story as below where my daughter’s gums were cut and damage was done to her enamel. She was crying during the application of the clasps and he asked if she was in pain and she said yes and he kept going with her gums bleeding as well as cutting her lip.I personally had a fall at the hospital where I needed some correction from Invisalign and the hospital was going to pay for my correction to where I had it before the fall but needed a letter from Dr.Scramstead and all he wrote was that I needed Invisalign for crowding….?There was no formal exam, no discussion of my fall, no regard for my injury, just focused on my money and getting me started.He kept my deposit and would not refund me even though we were only there 2-3 weeks.Plus he nearly cost me $2000.00 with my claim and thankfully Simply Amazing Smiles, took my case, gave me a proper exam and wrote the necessary paperwork and measurements for me to get my claim approved. Very professional and very compassionate staff. Highly recommend them.Align orthodontist is an assembly mill with little to no care about their patients, their hours are terrible and their staff is extremely rude. So glad I moved my family out of there before more damage was done.Why doesn’t this let me rate them with a ‘0’???

this doctor is terrible I wish somebody told me not to go here and he actually cut the gums of my mouth on purpose with his dental saw blade!and scrape the anchors to my Invisalign right off with my enamel!!! and now I have permanent damage and huge sensitivity to cold water and cold things to eat. The staff were also terrible I had my baby in the car and I went back out to check on her I come back and they were super mad that I went out to check on her and said not to go out there even though I was five minutes early and I just went out to grab my baby because she was asleep in the car.!! I just went in to let the front desk lady know that I was here and then went back out to pick up my sleeping baby because I was not going to let her stay in the car all by herself!! The staff said I was wasting their time.
