Early Learning Childcare Centre

My son went to a couple other daycares before we were recommended by our social development consultant to consider Early Learning childcare (Westwood) as he was struggling. I met with Corrine, the owner and gave her a heads up about my son and the challenges he was having at his previous daycares. She was very accommodating and willing to give him an opportunity at her facility. This daycare facility has been night and day for me and my son. They are fantastic communicators which I struggled to get from previous facilities. They email you everyday your child attends with a little blurb of what they did with photos. They respond to your messages within an hour and are wonderful caregivers with my son. They are patient, use consistency in learning and correction and they spend quality time getting to know who your kid is. They are always excited to welcome him every morning and he just loves all his teachers. The space is a great size and has 3 different rooms for the kids to play in. They do crafts, circle time and go to the park outside everyday for over an hour. They have a little gym inside with climbing and monkey bars so the kids can get physical activity inside on rainy days too. My son really enjoys going there, has made many friends and his behavior has improved dramatically. It has really helped me to have a daycare facility that treats my son with respect and as a little person learning to navigate his world rather than expecting him to fit in their box. They encourage the kids to be expressive and share their emotions and they have really special relationships with all the kids. I used to get anxiety dropping him off at his previous facility as they always had something bad to say about him but at Early Learning, they always highlight his strengths and work very closely with the parents to ensure everyone is on the same page. We love it here and highly recommend it. We will miss u all when he goes to kindergarten this year! :)

Nothing but positive things to say about The Early Learning Centre. Corinne the owner is very professional and does a great job of keeping everything running smoothly. The teachers are amazing. Very caring and they do a great job of communicating with us. The facilities are clean and there are always lots of fun activities planned for the children. It was such a relief when we found this place for our kids. They love attending!

We are so happy with Early Learning. Our daughter adores the staff and they take inspiring care of her. The children are taken to the park daily, given a variety of classes (yoga, music, french, karate, etc) and offered a lot of space and games for free play. When there is an issue, I can talk openly with the owner to come up with a joint solution. I really feel my husband and I have a committed, competent, and caring partner in raising our daughter, which is no small thing for a working couple.

When we first arrived at the Early Learning Childcare Centre at Port- Coquitlam (3-5) we were greeted by Corinne, the manager. She is very knowledgeable and friendly. She thought about all the details for a high quality daycare. The rooms were shinning, clean and equipped with a big selection of stimulating toys.The teachers at the 3-5 centre and extremely adorable. They are very approachable, professional and exceptional with the kids. They are full of energy, talented, very kind and affectionate. It is a great comfort knowing that our son is receiving highly-professional and compassionate care.Each day we drop our son, we are greeted and treated with a welcoming smile. Our son loves the place and is always dropped off and picked up with a big smile on his face.We fully appreciate the purposeful play-based program that is very rich and diverse through art, music, Karate, Zomba, French, field trips, parents gathering and a lot more.We are very grateful for the daily reports we received by emails about the centre's activities and our son's development.Big thanks to teachers, Else, Courtney, Jules, Jessica, Jasmine from all of us for the great experience our son (and us) spent through a period of 16 months.

My son has been going to this daycare for over a year now. They know him very well, and genuinely care about his emotions, likes, and needs. I am lucky enough to see them throughout the day because I work so close and all the children are always happy! My son is so lucky to have such great caregivers and friends to play with everyday! It makes my work day easy not having to worry about his well weing. Thank you Westwood infant/toddler!

Corinne and her team are amazing with kids. We had our son enrolled in the Westwood centre at one year old. When I was doing the research, this centre made me feel warm. The teachers and Corinne are very responsive to any questions we had. They also try their very best to accomdoate any special requests we had (ie. diet, nap schedules, and information we like to have received). There is a park (Fox Park) right behind the daycare which is awesome for outdoor activities. Our son has been really happy at this place and made some great friends! Also, there are tons of activities (structured and free play) everyday. The best part is that the teachers take pictures and videos for our kid and posts a sweet journal everyday including the these snapshots of the day and info regarding naps/feeding/diapers which makes us feel connected with our kid! I would highly recommend this centre to anyone and have already made plans to put our 2nd child in it.

I am so grateful to Corinne and team for the care they give to our children. We have one child in the 3 to 5 room, and one in the Infant/Toddler room. I love the HiMama app, and can't wait to see the photos of all the fun my little ones get up to during the day while we are apart. We have had many challenging experiences at some other daycares, and it is so relieving to know that my kids are in a place where they are so well cared for.

My son has been going to this daycare for 3 years now. I have to say, I am forever grateful for Early Learning Childcare Centre. The teachers and owner are so positive and friendly. The facility it’s self is super clean, they have so much room and activities. Their indoor play ground keeps my child active even on rainy days. They all care so much for my child and each teacher has taken her time to get to know him well. I would definitely recommend this child care centre. Five stars!

We chose ELCC based on great recommendations and excellent reviews. Our 1 year old attended weekly part-time and we are incredibly impressed with all of the hard work and the caring environment that the Westwood team has provided over the past year.The facility is always clean and inviting, the curriculum caters towards education and play, with many different outings and experiences that we would not be able to provide on our own time. They are vigilant in outdoor activity, trips to the park and walks occur rain or shine, once or twice a day.All of the staff are very friendly and attentive. Communication between staff and parents is encouraged and any issues are immediately addressed.We know that he has thoroughly enjoyed his time there and will greatly miss seeing his friends every week. We will return in a year's time with our newest addition, and feel very comfortable and relieved knowing that both children will receive the utmost care and guidance.Thank-you again to the Westwood Infant/Toddler team!-The Sticklers

Our son have been going to this daycare for 2-1/2 years. We like that he is given a variety of developmentally appropriate indoor and outdoor activities. We also like the classes they offer such as music, French, karate, yoga and aerobics. The teachers are very kind, friendly and caring. I would highly recommend this daycare.
