Tucker's Towing

My wife and I was travelling from Northern Ontario to Richmond Hill on January 09, 2018. We were involved in a collision North of Barrie Oro Medonte Line 2. Tuckers Towing was dispatched by the OPP to remove our truck to his impound from highway 400. Walter Tucker owner/operator was the driver of the tow truck.This being our first accident and with no past experience with tow trucks or dealings with insurance companies or with vehicle rentals. Our insurance company was no help with rentals as I did not have collision coverage even though the other driver was at fault. Walter explained the process with vehicle rentals and having them billing the insurance directly instead of me paying up front and chasing insurance for reimbursement Walter did not charge me for towing my truck to his impound as he would be billing my insurance directly. Walter on his own time drove us to Enterprise car rental in the city of Barrie and waited outside to make sure we got a rental. Enterprise was out of vehicles and Walter then drove us to Avis car rental in Barrie and again waited outside until we had a vehicle to rent. Walter told us he will meet us at his impound after we were setup with our rental vehicle to retrieve some of our belongings. On route to Tuckers Towing impound yard we hit some road blocks with navigation. A phone call to Walter for directions and Walter made arrangements to meet us on the road and we followed Walter to his impound.Walter of Tuckers Towing is a caring individual with empathy for people in stressful situations. Tuckers Towing represents a true representation of his profession.I would highly recommend Tuckers Towing for all towing needs.

We had a terrible accident experience but lucky for us it was Tucker’s Towing that showed up. The driver Randy explained what would happen with the car once it was taken to the pound and offered concern for my daughters well being. When speaking with Walter (owner) he explained everything that we needed to know about the process, as we had never been in an accident situation before. Walter was helpful, kind and sympathetic. Going beyond what an average towing company would do. I highly recommend this towing service. Courteous and professional owner and driver.

Wow, I couldn’t believe how many and how quickly these tow truck guys showed up. Ultimately I went with Walter @ Tucker’s towing. He was persistent but that’s their job. Walter was very helpful and informative. I was from out of town and on my way to spend a couple days at a cottage. Walter towed my truck, and is holding my vehicle until Monday when my insurance has arranged for it to be picked up. He also arranged for a rental with Natasha @ Estrada car rentals for me as well. I hope everything on Monday flows just as smoothly when my vehicle is picked up. Thank you and I appreciate your help Walter!! :)

Dude towed my trailer, all my fault of course so no hate, but he not only was a real nice guy about meeting me after hours to avoid an extra day impound fee. But he also hooked me up with the yard he uses for his his business but for some short term storage of my trailer. then moved it over from the impound side to the storage side for me too. All in all he helped turn a bad day for me into an expensive but helpful/ easy day at the end of it.

My boyfriend recently got into his first accident(completely not at fault), and was a bit in shock. The drivers arrived to the scene extremely quickly and were completely patient. I believe we dealt with somebody by the name of Walter (or something similar, I apologize a lot was going on I can’t quite remember). This man was extremely nice and helped us with so much. Dealing with him has definitely raised our standards for towing companies (in case we ever need a towing truck again). Without a doubt, going with this company was the best choice we could have made. Well done!

Absolutely incredible experience after a bad one! Walter kept me calm and even drove and helped me set up my rental. Such a gem would highly recommend!

Walter from Tuckers Towing helped my parents out when they got in an accident on the 400 a few weeks ago. They couldn’t say anything but good things about Walter and how caring and compassionate he was. He took the time to drive them around to a few different rental places as no one had a vehicle, he knew a lot and told my parents about the process of getting a rental and dealing with insurance and their rights etc as they had never been in an accident before and he genuinely cared about my parents and made everything was ok and set up before he left. I now have his card in my wallet if I ever need a tow. Thanks Walter !

Walter was very friendly and was so much help and went above and beyond on his service with exceptional knowledge! Great job Walter and thank you so much.
