The City Pool gives me everything I want of a no-attitude pool hall that is perfectly situated on Dundas West: A nice variety of can/draft beer options with varying pricing, classic no-frills greasy eats, a spacious venue for intimate hangs and of course many pool tables! This bar is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city and lends to a more smalltown-bar vibe and I love it.

One of my favorite spots to regular, people are pretty friendly, bartenders will chat with you and share funny stories. Several pool tables available ND even on busy nights you can usually approach people to line up for a game. Have met some really down to earth people here, salt of the earth, staple for toronto bar life.

Not a good spot for a date night. Kingstable rules, meaning you don't get to reserve a pool table, or even line up for one with change, they force you to play for the table with complete strangers. Would never visit again.

Owner screamed at and tried to attack a 19 year old for bringing his beer outside. Zero escalation or expectation for that to happen. The staff and the people there were also creepy
