Sapperton Pensioners Hall

Great hall. Over 4000 square feet per floor. Clean and maintained. Washrooms on each floor. Handicapped elevator inside. Location is a block away from the Skytrain, right next to royal columbian hospital. Parking in the back, kitchen downstairs.

Sapperton Hall is a quaint little place. I went there for the Alll Hallows Eve market. The elevators weren't working but there was a path around the side of the building that allowed for wheelchair and stroller access to and from the bottom floor (this was not pointed out but I think that's the fault of the market people not the hall itself). It has a small little stage ideal for youngsters to put on performances.

Went to a comedy show and had lots of fun. Good enough venue but they could use more washrooms.

A great hall, with plenty of potential use space. The on site lady was super friendly, and our event was well received! Very easy to get to, this central location in New West is super accessible, both upper and lower levels, and there’s plenty of parking. Definitely consider it for your next hall rental for any events

Speed swing dancing; At any age come here on Fridays at 7:30pm to dance with 50 different dancers guaranteed. Lots of fun. And every Friday, it's different.

This place is available to rent for large gatherings. Is a large cavernous room with kitchen facilities (not where you'd go to prepare a meal but satisfactory for warming things up, etc) and clean washrooms. Seniors meet here for information sharing etc. The floors are tiled (there's an uneven section near one of the enhanced so you may need to watch your step but it's minor) the walls are a fairly neutral color, there are about 6 posts evenly spaced throughout the room and there's a piano (don't know if it's tuned). There are lots of folding chairs and tables (set them up any way you want). There's a large parking lot right at the door but if you have a large gathering, you might want to carpool

A lovely place to host a Halloween Craft Market and other events. Parking will be a bit of a challenge though.

This hall is right next to and across from family homes. They have loud parties and concerts at night. No pensioners use this hall despite the name. It is very unaccountable to the neighbourhood. Sometimes guests stream out late at night and litter and urinate on the neighboring properties. They don’t need to rent the hall for night time concerts but they do. The music is so loud that neighbouring homes physically vibrate. Imagine having this kind of neighbour. Worst citizen of the year award recipients run this place. I’d much rather see badly needed low-income housing be built there instead of this rundown building run by people who clearly don’t care about the neighborhood.

It was allright.I expected more fun stuff.The prices were so high though.Please stop selling dead animals, it's so sad.
