Laval Junior Academy

ZERO stars. There is a lack of organization here, admin is not consistent and keeps changing. Lots of bullying and chaos amongst the kids. Our unionized school system keeps the wrong people in the wrong places, which ruins everything for our kids. eg, there was a vice principle woman not long ago who left and that was a good start in my opinion, but they just moved her into a principal's position at an elementary down the road. Very sad.That's how it seems to work. Go private if you can.

This is school is one of the best in the Sir Wilfred School Board in large part due to the professional academic staff (i.e. the teachers). The teachers are experts in their fields and motivate the children to excel. Both of my sons graduated from this school and I am extremely happy.

This school is bad I dont like it if you're planning on sending your child hear or LTM ect dont sent them hear lunch lady so mean teacher's bairley know how to teach properly teachers make fun of you're last name it's a BAD SCHOOL sure it has so manny activities but do not get fooled with that when you send you're chil hear it's like throwing them to hell or proson6

Not gonna lie this school has some teachers who constantly yell at 12 years olds, like damn we aren’t 20, we’re still children. They are so hard on us. Not to mention that the bathrooms smell like a sewer, the water tastes like paper, there are literal holes in our school from the ceiling leaking water. We have big buckets all around block c catching water. Buses are always late when the roads aren’t even bad. So much bullying happens in our school and teachers don’t even notice it. Like it’s ridiculous that we need to have proof to say that someone called us a really mean name and we have to have proof that it happens constantly. I’m not saying this is a terrible school but I’m just saying if it weren’t for all my friends being here, I would’ve switched schools a while ago.

This year, 2019/2020, this school is absolutly terrible. Extremly poor administration. It is a shame we never had any issues in LJHS days.

If u send ur child here make sure they never go to ssc because the teacher there has the shortest temper and will yell at u for nothing and is so rude it’s incredible and the school won’t do nothing about it this school staff is just so bad it amazes me

Worst administration I've ever seen. Teacher that bullies kids. Mr marshal makes fun of any last name he cant pronounce. Cops arresting kids when administration should step up. Teacher run after kids..literally pushing them. When you complain .they dont do anything. I'm even told by staff hihihi kids are vicious....hihihi! Wow what a mentality and we leave our kids in their care....if you want your child to end up in the system.. send them here! Horrible principal full of empty promises. ..

2 years at this school, were good and bad. some of my teachers were great and some were not. having teachers who yell at you, really didnt help my learning experiance and i failed a lot of my tests as a result. Many of the supervisors would also get you in trouble for doing absolutly nothing. Over all this school was 2 years of my life that i will always remember for being the worst and best experiance of my life

It's a school. It's also the main English High School in Laval. There's a dress code but there are dress down days. It also has a convenient location; 5 minute walk from carrefour and bus stops everywhere within a 2 block radius. The teachers are approachable and the school is clean for a public school.
