Mountainscape Weddings

Mountainscape did a fantastic job with our unique mixed background wedding. Our wedding ceremony and reception were exactly how we had imagined. The decorations were dreamy. Our wedding planner Lara was so upbeat, friendly, and helpful. Now that everything is done, I miss her weekly email updates.

I can’t say enough about our experience working with Mountainscape for our wedding in May 2022. We had worked with the team for over a year, primarily with Lara Passmore. I looked forward every Friday to the email I would receive from Lara regarding progress on our wedding planning. Lara made every request we had happen, was flexible when need be, and was always so kind and friendly in her communication. Within her Friday emails, she would update us on any progress made and answered any questions we may have had. She would always let us know ahead of time if something would come up to result in a lack of or delayed email. A few weeks prior to the wedding, Lara sent us a time table of the wedding day. This was super helpful and appreciated by our families as well.I was particularly impressed by Mountainscape the day before and day of our wedding. We met Katie Craig the day before our wedding at the registry and she walked us through everything we needed. I had a request regarding hair/makeup and Katie addressed it immediately. She obviously is super well liked in the Banff community, I could see this through the relationships she had with the staff at the registry and salon. Both Lara and Katie popped by the morning of the wedding to drop things off and give us updates. Once we arrived at our wedding location they were there as well and were so supportive. I felt like I knew them for so long even though we had only known each other through email up until the day before the wedding. Honestly I’m not even scratching the surface of the amount of things Mountainscape did for us. The are a extremely well oiled machine!If you are wanting a stress free wedding (who doesn’t?) with a team that clearly knows their craft, is well liked and respected in the Banff wedding industry, and is just a real treat to work with, you should not hesitate a single second in working with Mountainscape. It was the best decision we ever made (other than getting married!)Thanks again to ALL of the Mountainscape team. While we worked primarily with Lara and Katie, I know there were a lot of people in the background that also helped to make our day as spectacular as it was. Mountainscape was simply incredible. We could not have asked for a better elopement and they handled literally everything. Mountainscape Events was an absolute dream to work with! I am SO happy we chose them to plan our wedding with. The team went above and beyond to help plan, keep us organized and on track, help us find available vendors nearby while we were planning from Texas. Katie and her staff were incredible the day of our wedding to ensure things were running smooth and we weren't stressed. I would hire them again in a heartbeat no questions asked!

During a time of uncertainty my high school sweetheart decided that 2020 was the year we were to get married. After researching locations we came across Mountainscape Weddings in Banff. Our dream came true. My husband wanted the mountains and I wanted the fairytale. The staff were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond for us. Which wasn’t easy with 7 kids, guests and COVID. They handled all of the details and were never hard to reach out to and receive prompt responses. If your looking for that special day that you can really enjoy and remember the details, then Mountainscape weddings is for you!!!!

Two words: hire them.I am so grateful that we did. We went with the Month-Of Wedding Coordination plus Decor & Design and the whole process was made effortless by their incredible team. Team is the key word here, no matter the time of day or time of year, someone responded to our questions, concerns and requests. We were so well taken care of. On the day of our wedding, I was so pleased with the floral and decor which was even better than what I was hoping for. Naomi (Creative Director) was so patient with my (changing) decor vision and did a fantastic job bringing it all to life. I'm so happy that I took her suggestions as well - they know what they're talking about!! Katie (planner) was a godsend. She was bascially a second MOH. Making sure everything went flawlessly and taking care of me even when I didn't know I needed it. I am so grateful for her and her entire crew. It makes me emotional thinking about how perfect our day was, which was, in big part, because of her.If you're thinking about hiring them - DO IT!

We hired MountainScape for both our wedding and event planning in August 2019. Katie Craig, our wedding planner, was the absolute best! She was friendly, professional and extremely helpful. I should mention we did everything by email and phone as my fiance and I are from Edmonton and MountainScape is in Banff. We never did formally meet until the wedding day and even my caterer had thought we were friends prior to the wedding as Katie is just that easy to work and get along with. She organized all the vendors a month ahead, contacted each to determine timelines and set up, and formalized a minute by minute spreadsheet of the days events. She took all our stress away which would have been to the extreme if it were not for her.We had a beautiful private ranch venue in Invermere B.C. (a destination for everyone involved) that had no amenities except a bar, some out-houses, and no running water. The MountainScape Team (MST) handled everything, from the organization of the reception, the cocktail hour and the ceremony. They provided and sourced out all the decor we would need from napkins, gold cutlery, wine goblets, to beautiful lighting and magnificent chandeliers with greenery draped along them. They did a site tour for us months prior to the wedding day and presented us with all the details we would have never thought of but would have been large issues if not addressed. They transformed the barn and other spots on the ranch property into the most magical place. I also had my florals done through them, they took my Pinterest ideas and delivered exactly what I had dreamed of. Many people asked me where I had got my florals from as they we so stunning.Katie, Georgia, and Naomi delivered everything to make our day perfect. Everyone said something would go wrong and with this team nothing went wrong. I cant say enough good things about them and would recommend them to everyone I know. They made the whole process for my Fiance and I effortless with their professionalism and wedding/event experience. When we first started looking for a planner I had put requests to other wedding/event planners and got simple short paragraphs outlining very little services with a large price. When I contacted MountainScape I got a two page email regarding everything they could do for us along with pricing, it was a no-brainer for us to choose them. I don’t know where to begin! We got engaged during the pandemic and therefore we were engaged for almost two years. Our first priority was choosing the perfect wedding planner since we were having a destination wedding (planning it from another country). We spoke with a handful of options in the area, but after talking to Katie and Naomi, we knew they were the perfect fit. We worked with Mountainscape Weddings for about 18 months. They made the process very seamless. They never overwhelmed us with too many options. Instead, they sent us highly curated vendor options and every single vendor we chose was fantastic! The process of choosing vendors, establishing a budget and making our dream design and decor vision come to life was all very well done. They were able to listen to all of our wishes and desires and turn our ideas into the exact wedding we dreamed of. The weekend of the wedding was also very seamless. Katie was there every step of the way, from helping us get our marriage license to making sure everything went smoothly day-of. Katie and Lara were amazing. Because of their help and support, my husband and I enjoyed our wedding and didn’t have to worry about anything! I can’t thank the Mountainscape team enough. I want to re-live that weekend over and over and would highly recommend them to anyone planning to get married in Banff!
