Cute and sweet! A lots of Japanese stuff:)

Very friendly. Sell some of our favorite snacks made fresh to order (egg waffle and onigiri). Also a great selection of imported snacks, groceries and drinks.

Bit disappointed in the atmosphere. A very Loud conversation from the side room loomed through the store while people shopped. Three voices discussed how difficult it is to do business in PEI, how backwards Islanders are, how stuck in the past the Island is and how newcomers immigrating with bigger and better ideas would soon bring Charlottetown and the island into the future as the new east coast metropolis instead Halifax or, maybe, greater than that.Oh!! I don’t mind the Island the way it is.I thought I’d reach out to the owners, directly, To mention how upsetting it was to hear the conversations so loudly and so set against the island ways. Their answer was simply that I must’ve misunderstood. I totally didn’t… I left brokenhearted. Though I live Japanese food and cook with it all the time, I won’t be back.Ps...The folks who run the store down by value Village… Behind the RBC…it’s an eclectic and much bigger Asian grocer. Such a wonderfully kind folks. I often talk with them when I go there and they’re so kind. They will even to try to get products in that you might be interested in.

The staff is wonderfully attentive, welcoming and helpful. They have a fantastic selection of Japanese snacks, and (for special occasions) genuine Japanese Wagyu beef.The building is wheelchair accessible. I recommend them highly.

Awesome little store with many products from Japan!

My friends and I would go to Sumikko Mart almost everyday during the school year to get lunch and snacks. The staff are the nicest people in the world and the food is absolutely delicious for great prices! Sumikko Mart will always be a favourite of mine!:)

So many amazing products straight from Japan. The owner is very friendly and helpful! She will explain any product to you if you're unsure, as mostly everything is written only in Japanese.

I love this store! It has the best snacks and bubble waffles, and the employees are so kind and helpful. Highly recommend!

Very nice and beautiful store, friendly staff, interesting selection of items from Japan and more. The Taiyaki was very good.
