I reached out and spoke to Tarek about a driver door I needed for a repair. All he wanted to do was get me to send him money for the door. I had noticed there seemed to be a sizeable ding on the door in the available images and emailed him after we spoke asking for a better picture of the door ahead of paying for it. I never received a response back and he called me the next day clearly angry asking where his money was for the door. I told him I sent him an email asking for a better picture as I'm in Toronto and couldn't reasonably drive to Bowmanville to get a look of the door myself. He refused to take the picture and hung up the phone on me... The door was coded as being in perfect condition (000) but I'm sure had I gotten a better picture I would have seen it was not. I never write reviews but this company is run by some shady people and felt it needed to be highlighted.

Called to confirm that they had stock of an LED taillight, which they showed having 2 of in inventory, both supposedly being in A1 condition. I stated that I'd be in to pick up the part that was 1 model year newer than the other, and after driving for close to an hour, arrived to find a part that was badly scratched & burnt out. After then being told that they were now closed and that I could return the following week to pick up the other of the 2 taillights, we finally agreed that the second taillight would be delivered to me because of the inconvenience. 3 days later when the 2nd part arrived, it was for a completely different vehicle, at which point I was told that that was all they had, along with a sorry". Now

Driver was extremely rude, unprofessional and technically stole keys and ownership to a vehicle that he never ended up towing. Called the office multiple times to no resolve. Luckily I found a better yard that had better staff and gave me a better price.

Abe's Auto Wreckers towed-away our 2008 Saturn Vu SUV for recycling only just yesterday...They offered us THE best pay-out compared to some one-half dozen places that we had contacted overall, Ben" was very courteous on the telephone

They used to be a great place to do business with, I have been buying parts from them for years, But I am not sure if they have changed ownership. They are ignorant now and will not stand behind what they sell now either. I got a faulty computer from them, They just said no warranty and that something is wrong with the vehicle not their part. So no refund or exchange. Well You can keep the 50 bucks, I bought one from another yard and now my customer is happily on his way.You just lost my business of at least 20 years over a 50 dollar part..... Thats bad business sense. I am Neal Ward from Wards Auto Service. I would never dream of treating my customers this way.

The service I received today from the team, at Abe's Auto Wreckers was simply SUPERB! I got a very fair quote for my car but what really made the difference was their dedication to their clients. I had to call them a number of times, having to coordinate with CAA, the towing of my car and reschedule multiple times, and never once did they display impatience. They made my day!! I really can't thank them enough. :)

Called for 2 fenders and a hood. Was told only hood had some minor stone chips. I was good with this. They pulled parts on Friday and I drove 120km to pick up on a Saturday. All parts had bad scratches requiring repaint. One fender was dented with rust. We came to an agreement on a good discount but had they been upfront in this on Friday it wouldn't have been a surprise upon pickup.Friendly staff however and I'll still return. I'll just have parts inspected better before I go out.

I scrapped my 2009 Sonata.They give you the best rate for your scrap car.Great customer service.

If you have the misfortune of having to visit this place make sure you drive down their road at under 3km per hour, as if you go any faster the big tough guy from the yard is gana come looking for you to hurl insults at you and call you all sorts of nice names. Apparently he’s not only a parts picker but a professional speed camera. I don’t know how fast this guy must have thought I was going in order to be this upset, but I assure you it wasn’t very fast since even if I wanted to go fast this dump has massive pot holes all over the dirt driveway that’ll probably blow your suspension. You can see by their overall reviews this place does not excel in customer service. If the guy would have just asked me to slow down I would have apologized right away, instead he just gets verbally aggressive. Honestly skip this place along with the human speed camera and find another place to grab parts.

Called and asked about a door for a Rogue. Was quoted a good price and went to pick it up. After getting there and looking at the door, I agreed to buy it. The gentleman knocked off $25 from the original quote. I installed the door myself the next day and was very pleased with the transaction. Thanks!
