Urban Dog SPAW

A huge shout out to the wonderful staff at Urban Spaw in Fort.First time customers for our boys and what an amazing hair cut. It was the first grooming for our 6 month old pup and sounds like he loved every minute of it. Thank you so much for the special treatment and we will definately be calling the Urban Spaw for all our grooming needs. Thanks again and have an aweome day :)

Look how handsome he is! This photo was our fosters first bath (that we know of) and they did such a good job. They were timely and he was clean and fresh!

I brought my 9YR rottie to this groomer for the 3rd time last week which went as scheduled. His normal groom consists of a wash, nail clipping and ear cleaning.With in 3 days I noticed my dog was shedding more then when I brought him in and lost any clean fresh smell (don't remember him smelling fresh either). I have been trying to call the groomer since last week Friday with no luck until today. I don't know if there was a shortage of people working the phones.I finally spoke with the receptionist today around noon and told her of my experience. She had the owner Josie (i believe) call me back which she just did.Josie told me it was a normal groom and told me that there was a groomer closer to me that does dog training near by. The groomer she suggested was already briefed on my dog. Seems a little rash without speaking to me first.Apparently this new groomer would want my dog muzzled from the start of meeting him. Being a dog owner of many years and seeing my dog love visiting his old groomer to the point of total excitement frustrated me as I was being told that wearing a muzzle should not be a punishment etc. My dog only ever got muzzled when he got his nails clipped previously on the days that he may have seemed a little more snarly and that made him sad.He is not a bad dog or aggressive. I feel the groomers here are eager to take your money without the proper training to read the dogs they have in front of them.Normalizing muzzles is like telling people to wear a mask without the need for one.Muzzles were invented for a reason. People need to really educate themselves.

The best people ever. My dog loves coming in to see Bethany, and she is so great with him. Satisfied every time with his grooming. No complaints at all.

Amazing staff! Dropped off terpy my big fluffy samoyed who needed a little extra tlc due to a busy work schedule a couple weeks back and I was so impressed when I came and picked him up.Terps was such a happy puppy when I came and got him and he looked like a new dog. Very knowledgeable staff and every time I go they seem to be extremely happy to see him, which makes me feel like he's in good hands.Great group of dog lovers. Highly Reccomend Urban Dog Spaw for anyone around the fort sask area.

They did a wonderful job grooming my miniature Schnauzer. He left very happy. The Spaw is welcoming and they cleaned high touch surfaces in between every guest. I will definitely be returning!

Took my maltese there for a grooming, ask them not to shave his tail and to pull hair in his ears.picked him up to find tail shaved ,hair in ears not pulled feet not shaved just a very poor quality grooming. I paid 100 dollars which I would expect for this price it would be high quality grooming but was I wrong . Will not return to this place. If you want quality try somewhere else.

They are great at this groomer. They truly care about ur fur baby and do an amazing job.

First visit here for Frye. Bethany came to meet him at reception. She asked questions about the services and got to know him. Then at pick uptime, Bethany discussed the hair cut and how Frye was during the cut. Haircut is exactly as requested and Frye is calm. Thank you Bethany for great service.

Pricing is always 'incorrect' I've been told. I had a pamphlet the first time I visited and it stated everything that was included with their highest package. I later found out my pup did not receive all the treatments since the pamphlet was wrong. No credit was offered. Then the last few times I decided to pay the extra $ to get the services anyway since I did not have time to research another groomer. The price went up significantly but I didn't look into the details until a few weeks ago and noticed my 6LB yorkie was being charged as if she was a 10LB dog, a $10 difference. When confronted today they told me her 'size' is considered a 10LB dog, not her weight. ??? How does that make sense even? No credit was offered for the last 3 times I've been overcharged. After paying for my bill Kim came out and told me the managers said they will continue to charge me as if she was 10LB's because the sign is wrong and only under 5LBs is considered X-Small all of a sudden. The big billboard sign they have on display by the front desk is wrong, all of a sudden. I am very unhappy and they will no longer be getting my business. My advice is to watch your bill in detail!
