My daughter needs her SIN. I did it twice online to have it denied. They say we didn't provide proper documents. Called.. they said we did. He doesn't understand why they say we didn't that he would escalate it but if I go in it will be faster.Went in Sept 23rd to be refused entry cause it was 345.. but their open till 4! I have it all on video.Today my daughter's dad went at 11am and again refused entry and told to come back tomorrow....What are they getting paid for...??Just filed a complaint on this location and I am.going to seek legal advice!

I had an excellent experience here to renew two (unexpired) passports on February 7. I went early and was in the line up outside at 7:45 am (they open at 8:30 am) and there were five people ahead of me. This was terrific! Once they start letting people in, they give you a number and you sit down and wait. Another desk calls you up by your number and she (she was very friendly and welcoming - long curly hair) confirms the purpose of your visit, then you sit down and wait to be called by the staff who process your paperwork. I was called up to desk 2 and helped by Amanda...She also explained that this office is not a passport office. This office gathers all of the passport applications and sends them to a nearby passport office (Mississauga). If you have a complicated passport application, you can't go here, because they are not set up to help you.Amanda was thorough, patient and helpful. I had completed my applications electronically, printed them and taken these in. She explained that I had not completed two key areas. She highlighted the needed corrections and asked me to make them. She worked quickly, but accurately to process the info. I couldn't help but notice her T-shirt. After the applications were submitted, I said to her, I love your Titanic cats" (featured on her T-shirt) and we both burst out laughing.Folks - make sure that you have all your paperwork is completed before you go to a government office. Make sure that you have all the required documents and that you go to the correct type of office that can deal with your need. There was a lady ahead of me

Doing a good job despite having outdated tech. They literally need to manually key in the passport application form to their system.

Very understaffed. Except for security guards. There’s about 4 security guards to 1 agent. They are friendly enough but takes hours to get in and if you’re not there early, you’ll be turned away.

Great team! When I handed in my application forms, the front desk staff was very helpful in catching some errors and gently reminded me that I might not be served due to the long lists in front of me, but he still accepted my application. Thanks to Rick and Penny, who stayed after hours to help me process my applications. I was the second last customer, and they finished mine at 4:30 pm, although the center was supposed to close at 4 pm. The center is small, but all the staff was polite, professional, and helpful!

The security guard is beyond rude, little man syndrome at its finest. Nothing bad to say about staff inside because I never made it in. He sends people to the Hamilton locations claiming they get passports faster but that’s a lie. Queenston service Canada is amazing so don’t waste your time here anyway. Service and speed in Hamilton was top notch, security guards were also over 4 feet so very pleasant there.

With the keen timing of a clockmaker and the determination of a pioneer, I found myself at this establishment in the hearty midst of May, the hands of the clock barely past the hour of three in the afternoon, whilst their doors were due to shutter by four post meridian. On not one, but two separate occasions, I was cautioned by the diligent figures of security and reception alike. A solemn warning delivered, my passport would remain unclaimed till the late days of June, the 27th, to be precise. Furthermore, I was sternly advised that if I was not being attended by an agent by the hour of four, I would face the rather unceremonious prospect of dismissal. Armed with this knowledge, I resolved to brave the odds. The hands of the clock advanced in their steady march and after a period of some twenty minutes, I was beckoned forward. We proceeded to engage in our allotted task.Lo and behold, a scant nine days later, the coveted passport was mine to hold, no additional fees levied for expedited services. A testament, perhaps, to efficiency in unexpected quarters. All souls I had the pleasure of crossing paths with conducted themselves with the utmost decorum and civility. My solitary critique, if I may venture one, is a plea for a touch more compassion in the delivery of timeframes. Time, after all, is a human construct, and its dealings ought to be executed with a corresponding human touch.

I put 2 stars instead 0 because the security guard at the door is super nice and took his time to nicely explain what to do to people. Orher than that it was hard to believe that they had only 2 or 3 employees working for the customers and 3 employees at the door who basically worked hard for the first hour, given numbers and explanations to the first 40 clients and then you have random people here and there, I will say 10 or 15 in one hour, basically to give a number tell them to come later. 3 EMPLOYEES TO DO THAT. Had to wait for 4 1/2 hs to get my passport application done.

This is by far the worst place to get your passport renewed. There is absolutely no respect for people's time. If you want to waste an entire day for something as simple as getting your passport renewed you should go to this location. We were in line at 8.20 and there were 6 people in front of us. It is 10.30 and we did not make it to the counter yet! This is ridiculous! It is worst than a third world country! What a joke this place is!If I would work like this I would be fired in about 5 minutes.
