I always stop here on my way to or from visiting our daughter and her family. In the fall they have a great variety of apples. There are also so many homemade jams and preserves to choose from. A unique general store to be sure with very friendly staff.

In the small town of Neustadt, Ontario is a cute little store that is everything you would expect from a small town general store.It is part convenience store, post office, icecream parlour, sandwich shop, gift store, and bake shop.The baked goods are 90% all their own.They seem to be known for buttertarts, but they also have a great selection of pies, breads, and cinnamon buns.As we are on a #buttertartquest, we purchased some plain buttertarts to review on our website.Stop in when you are in the area.

Staff are friendly but owner is horrible. Hope he is not as rude to his staff as he is to service personnel. He physically kicked the maintenance man's tools and equipment across the room and looks at him in disgust why??? Because he is not Caucasian? Or because you are mad you need repairs in the first place. You need to look at yourself in the mirror Mr. And get a life. Your butter tart crusts are like cake not pastry like either, filling is good not to sweet but not tart like enough for me.

Okay, Home bakery, easy on the sugar.Best place.Apple crumble and egg salad sandwiches are the best.They scoop their ice cream at the back of store. Wow what a treat.
