Peter Owen of Owen Landscape Architect recently designed and project-managed a project for my property.The home was once a historic church that has reverted to a residence on a small corner lot that was just grass - completely devoid of any landscaping.Thanks to Peter's creativity and sourcing and selection of amazing plant materials, an remarkable transformation has taken place!

Peter did a fantastic job when he did an overall landscape plan for our cottage in Haliburton. I had been struggling for years trying to deal with elevations and trying to make the best use of our space. Peter's plan was unique and workable. He put great time and thought into how we use space and not only dealt with the elevation challenges but created beautiful locations for gardens and patios that we would never have thought of. We absolutely love our space now!Peters designs are so unique and organic in nature that we asked him to do a plan for our sauna. Once again, the unique design is second to none and we know that no one will have a sauna quite like ours!!We highly recommend Peter!

My husband and I hired Peter Owen with the idea of transforming our new retirement home's backyard into an outdoor oasis. We proposed an aggressive wish list of features that we didn't know fit the smallish space. After several meetings to talk about potential elements ( pool,hot tub, fireplace, decks, etc.) Peter set out to create a design that has incorporated all of out wishes, in a thoughtful, well planned way that respects the environmental constraints of the site, and will be a transformational extension of our indoor living space. We specifically chose to hire a professional landscape architect to create the design to ensure that it reflected an overall integration of the elements in the best possible way. We are most pleased with Peter's professionalism and design acumen. The project is currently under construction and we can't wait to enjoy the finished results.

Peter did a fantastic job bringing a vision to create our sauna and swim area at our Georgian Bay cottage. The end result has added a great new dimension to our cottage enjoyment and experience. The design creates a wonderful 'flow' between the cottage and waterfront that makes it easy and comfortable to wander down the beautifully designed floating staircase to the waterfront for a sauna, morning dip our midnight skinny.

We engaged Peter Owen to help re-imagine our backyard and to come up with a viable action plan.
