A beautiful place and the service is good but the food was terrible. If you're paying $30 for a burger and $21 for a cup of chowder, then the food should at least be warm. Went with a group and a few orders were sent back for being cold, dry or tasteless. I felt for the servers who had to keep running interference. One person having a bad meal is one thing, but more than 4-5 in a group of 15 and there's a problem. Again, beautiful atmosphere, and service was good...but wow.

Went for the new years event. Food was decent, but portions were extremely small (3 bites each small). It was a 5 course meal and I wasn't expecting huge portions but for 160 dollars per person it wasn't good enough. Won't be back.

Ordered a smoothie for takeout for my drive to the ferry terminal. I went down to pick it up and was surprised to see an 18% service charge on the bill and then when I was handed the terminal to pay, I was asked to tip on top of this charge. I selected 0% for tip but feel this is a shady money grab on the part of management. My small premade smoothie ended up costing over $18 for zero service received.

Very nice renovation from what used to be here. The views from the lounge are great, year round, and invite the guests to the restaurant. The service was friendly, quick, and very professional. During my two dining experiences, I had 2 to 3 different staff come by several times to check on things or otherwise assist. It's clear it's more than just one server dealing with you.The food, was very good! I got their Wagyu Steak Surf and Turf special. It was a true Australian Wagyu as advertised, and tasted delicious. It was probably the most expensive item on their menu, but I felt it's still one of the best values for Wagyu steak available in BC. Steak was done properly to medium rare as requested. The shrimp were one of the best shrimp I've had anywhere. It could be that they were sitting in the Wagyu fat, but whatever it was, I enjoyed them just as much as the steak.I came a second time for Happy Hour and their fish and chips was a nice option too. Their fries are really nicely done. Thick, crisp, but have a nice soft centre. Calamari was decent, but had better elsewhere.I will admit, that although the food is very tasty, fresh, and otherwise perfect, the portions are smaller than most restaurants. I generally have an average appetite, but both meals left me feeling hungry for more, where I'm usually satisfied after my meals elsewhere.I was staying at the hotel for work, so they gave a 20% off voucher for the restaurant. With that, it made the meal much more reasonable, but I would have been content paying full price if I were coming here another time.Edit: The photo of the Wagyu Surf and Turf shows fries which I had substituted instead of the mashed potatoes.

Food quality was good. Service great. Portions very small. Food is very expensive. On top of a large bill they add a “health and safety fee”. Also I can’t believe I had to pay $8 in their parking lot so I could drop $200 on brunch. Go elsewhere.

Unfortunately Christmas brunch buffet was a real disappointment, the food was cold and run out of few items, the selection was also very limited. The buffet selection is definitely not worth $99.00 per person not even close. The staff try really hard to make up for it. We appreciate the effort. Westin standard was not met overall. Hopefully overtime Westin will up their game to the standard before covid.

$85 for Valentines Dinner (per person) even though it tasted great. The portion size was simply unbelievable. My appy was 1 cracker with some beats on it. Yes 1 cracker. Then the soup was maybe 1/2 cup with 1 piece of cauliflower. Wagu steak was 2” by 3” at the most.Vegetables were cold and only a few slivers. The dessert was the largest part of the dinner. The service was non existent. No one checked to see if our meal was even ok. We noticed other couples who left hungry and dissatisfied.Westin you have to do better!!!!!!So expensive!!!

Casual dining at not casual prices. Service was friendly and good. The view is nice, looking through the reflection of the hockey game in the windows. Skip the appys and the mains are decent. But none of it was awe inspiring except the prices. Drinks were mediocre and expensive. No sign of scotch (whiskey...) in my Scotch 75" but lots of prosecco. The appys were not worth half what they cost. Carpaccio was still frozen solid (yes I know it is shaved "partially frozen" but when it is served it should not be solid and frozen into one slab)
