Thanks. It's a quiet place. Conducive for prayers. Recollections. There is a Chaplain.there is mass on daily basis.there are rooms for accomodation.the nuns are very hospitable.

Generous and caring! Beautiful place to spend time alone with God—without distraction! Amazing food is also available if you choose to arrange for meals from the monastery (they are even very sensitive to diet restrictions). Very pleasant, private cottages, as well as one with multiple bedrooms for a larger group.

Transfiguration Monastery
The peace of ancient chant tones ( mostly English, with Latin antiphons.) Three black-habited Benedictine sisters keep the chant going a cappella. Rustic small chapel opposing choir stalls and Byzantine icons. Rooms have desks. Well equipped kitchen. Library and common areas. Quiet rural location 3 miles from Windsor (on RIGHT side of Rt 79 coming from Windsor.) Roman Catholic priest lives on-site.
