Battery World Vancouver

I'm so glad I stepped in to Battery World Vancouver. I was about to buy a new deep cycle RV battery at Canadian Tire but figured I would see what else was out there.As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a friendly man whose name I regretfully did not get. He was quick to show me the different types of batteries they had and explained all of their differences and nuances.I walked out of there spending a lot more money than I thought I would but I have a much better battery for the job at hand and will probably save money in the long run by not replacing it as soon.The guy working the shop is super nice, very knowledgeable and I would highly recommend Battery World to anyone.

I don't usually leave reviews but why not. I was in the market for a pure sine inverter and called here to get pricing on the Samlex brand. The owner checked to make sure he had inventory of the ones I was interested in, and he had them. The pricing was quite good, much better than Lordco even with my account. I went in and looked at the different models. The owner was decently knowledgeable, though did at times second guess himself a little. I tried to get a bit of a deal, I could tell he was hesitant but in the end I got a 10% discount which was nice.After hooking up my 1000w SSW inverter, it worked, but the remote didn't. I called and the owner said he was sorry about that and said he had a spare remote in stock. I came in, we tested the remote, it turned out to just be the cable. He gave me a new cable free of charge and said sorry for the inconvenience. Overall I would say that was pretty good service. If you are nice and respectful, you will be treated like that in return here.

Richard answered all my questions over the phone before making the trip to the store for 12V condo auxiliary battery I needed. He was also great in person. His price was very fair when I compared. We will be back for the marine battery for our boat in the future. I would highly recommend to all my friends and family

They have your batteries. My company sources some unusual batteries here, no problem, they have it. Great selection of batteries for everything from cars to solar to industrial equipment or electronics. Have something with a hard to find replacement battery? Give these guys a try.

Needed a battery for my key FOB that I could not find literally anywhere in town but the dealership. These guys had tonnes of them, sold me only one piece at a very reasonable price (half of what the dealership wanted). I've since come back twice more and had the same great experience each time.

I needed two mobility scooter batteries. They had what I needed and gave me all the knowledge I would need to get the longest life from them. Price was good.

If you are looking for any kind of battery, give Richard a call. Not only does he answer the phone, but he is also super knowledgeable and helpful. He’s been taking care of my battery needs for years and really knows his stuff.

Richard was amazing. He took the time to help me with my battery situation in my camper van. He spoke with me for ten minutes helping me figure out my issue and his advice worked.He did all this despite the fact I have never been a customer of Battery World. He is just out here being a solid human being. I will definitely make my next battery purchase here regardless of price.5 Stars Richard

Visited Battery World today in need of help with our battery/solar problems in our van, and couldn't be happier that we did.Richard (the owner) and his rep Owen were absolutely incredible!Not only were they extremely informative with what we needed for our set up, they were also very patient as they walked us through step by step on how to install everything... even letting us use some of their tools :)Could not recommend these guys enough, totally outstanding customer service!Thanks again Richard for all your help and kindness today.

I was in need of batteries for my Mercedes key fob's. neither key was working. Richard the person that helped me opened up a website looked at my keys and had the problem fixed in less than 8 minutes...both keys. The problem was that the contacts had been severley bent out of shape but he was cautious and straightened them both out..I know I would have snapped them. I had called Mercedes dealership before going to Battery World and explained my problem. They wanted me to drop my car off and pick it up the next day. So I asked how much the batteries were and they quoted me $12 each. They are the small round batters that are the same as most key fobs use....$1.50 at dollar store, which I had already tried and it didn't work...I needed 4. Richard sold me 4 batteries and repaired my key FOBs and had it all done within 8 minutes. It's not often any retail store gets involved with fixing anything because of liability but he had no problem...he knew what needed to be done and he did it...I am sure that he treats all customrs the same and I highly recommend if you are looking for batteries hes the guy to see. It was a pleasant experience...which doesn't happen often these days.Oh and the price? It was a bit out of line but I bit the bullet...$14.00 for all 4 batteries and service...great deal to say the least
