Despite a very active lifestyle in the past, I'd been suffering with back pain for years and have tried all sorts of treatments with a number of different practictioners, including chiropracty. As I got older, I was told regularly that this was part of aging and I had to manage the pain with medication. I spend much of my time riding my horse and noticed increasing challenges with keeping my balance, and experienced a number of falls over the last few years. After a significant lower back injury in July (which left me unable to walk or perform simple chores), I decided to visit Zavitz Family Chiropractic and met with Dr. Terry Zavitz. At this point, I pretty much had lost hope that anything could be done to alleviate my pain. After a thorough examination, I made the decision to enroll into a treatment program. Fast forward 6 weeks and I cannot believe the results. Not only has the pain in my lower back disappeared, I am now able to resume physical activities that I couldn't do for years. My balance and core strength have returned and I'm able to really enjoy riding my horse again (and he's feeling the difference too!) The benefits of the treatment has affected every aspect of my life both physical and emotional in such a positive way. It simply has transformed my life. I was experiencing pain and numbness in my hands, severe migrains, irregular menstral cycles, insomnia etc. I started visiting Zavitz Chiropractic from March 2022 and after my very first visit I noticed there was a change in the way my body felt. After the first month I was sleeping well, I had less migraine days and the no numbness in my hands. Three months into my treatment I was back to a regular menstrual cycle, migrains got less and less and my body felt lot more active and I definitely sleep a lot more.To date date I have no pain in my body and feel back to normal. Experiencing chronic back pain for years, a severe and persistent flare of lower back and hip pain sent me in for an assessment. Dr. Zavitz did an assessment of my spine with x-rays and I finally had proof there was issues with my spine causing the pain! Treatment takes time, but, it works and is well worth it!

Terry is a great chiropractor but even a better person. He's been helping my mom with Sciatica. He explains and sets reasonable timeframes for her recovery. All the while treating the person not just the pain.
