Not worth at all. Thin sashimi, oily tempura, not crispy seaweed, super salty sablefish. Not a real star Michelin restaurant.

Reservation is highly recommended. The server is very attentive and very patient while explaining the menu. Loving the presentation and the taste of the food. Everything served looks like an art, such delicacies!

My friends and I arrived without making a reservation on Saturday. They were very kind to accommodate us as long as we return the table after an hour of dining. We agreed and finished on time to return the table. The food was fabulous, with excellent service! Very crispy tempura. Udon was fabulous, and the miso soup was amazing. It was a fantastic dinner. I would gladly return for more.

Charming place! Recommend reserving ahead of time to ensure you have a spot. We had a nice patio table.Eggplant was a nice highlight! Savoury and not overly seasoned.

A fantastic intimate Japanese restaurant that’s in a quiet neighbourhood. The service is attentive and great. The food is outstanding. They change their menu often to showcase seasonal dishes. The variety of dishes we tried ranged from appetizer to special Japanese fish nigiri to cooked dishes. The highlight was the nigiri, carpaccio and the red wine beef stew. Would skip the dessert here.

This is my favourite Japanese restaurant in Vancouver. It is expensive but worth it. They have great fish and very tasty dishes. The atmosphere is nice and they obviously put a lot of care into their restaurant.

What a lucky find! We were actually on our way to another restaurant, when we spotted this one. As it was closer to our later destination we decided to stop in.The food was delicious, and presented immaculately. Our sake even came in a nice decanter with equally nice glasses. The rolls we're unique and tasty, the duck udon was amazing, and the chicken even had a little mesh holder to rest on so it wasn't sitting in its own grease while we were eating.Can't wait to come back here with friends! Highly recommended!

We came for a birthday celebration and were very disappointed!Don’t know how they got a Michelin star. The ambience was mediocre. Food was below average.We ordered their seasonal sashimi which was the most common fish you can find. The slices were so thin that we were could hardly taste anything.The main course was grilled fish and it was smaller than an appetizer. It came out quite salty. Their most popular roll (as recommended) was plain and dull. The taro chips were stale and the staff used his bare hand to grab from the container. We had our hot dish before our raw nigiri.Bill was almost $300 for the 3 of us without alcohol, just tea, and we were about 50% full.Needless to say, we won’t be returning.

Interior is modern, seating is comfortable, service is warm and professional, food overall is great!Price tag for each item seems not that expensive but the portion you get is small. I love the presentation of their food! Sushi seems okay, nothing special.Anyway it’s a good place to try a different kind of Japanese cuisine dining experience.
