Mavrick's Music Hall

Awesome acoustics, balcony area, as well as smoking area outside. Could use an extra bar, but what venue couldn't? Very personal concert experience.

This was a great venue for a concert! I saw Kip Moore and Drake White there. The concert was great. I upgraded to the VIP pass which was worth the extra $10. We bypassed the long line up and got a great spot, nice and close to the stage!

Had a great night thanks to Bahamas earthtones tour. Venue was good, wish the stage was higher so people standing on the floor could see the band better.

The owner is friendly and honest, his crew is awesome and hard working. A place to be on a Saturday night for sure!Need to come back again with a car full of friends and some good times!

Saw My Son The Hurricane at Mavericks Music Hall. The band was fantastic. Lots of energy, great moves and musicians. The sound in the club was the worst I've ever experienced at a live venue. For a club that prides itself on being a live venue they need to do much better. I will not be back.

I absolutely LOVE this place!I hadn't been to this location since college and was so happy to find the exact same vibe now, as then! We just saw Texas King and Bigfoots hand open for Big Wreck and were completely blown away by how great the acoustics were as well as the almost non-existent wait time at the bar in a sold out show (packed house)!The security was friendly yet firm so everything was super relaxed.Can't wait to go back for more great music!

Im still waiting for the day that Barrie gets a quality music venue. Mavericks is aggressively loud, the security are over-the-top aggressive, and the entire atmosphere is unwelcoming and accusatory. I literally watched someone be violently dragged out of this venue for lighting a joint in the crowd. While you obviously can’t do this a simple warning would have sufficed just fine. Instead, this individual was literally torn from the crowd and rather violently removed from the venue. Downtown Barrie is always a sketchy place and it seems as though this venue is determined to throw people out on the street not for fighting or aggression or harmful behaviour, but for a little weed at a reggae show. Should Mavericks ease up a bit, emphasize quality over noise, and treat their patrons like friends rather than enemies they could hold a spot as the premiere music venue in town. Until they do that however they will just continue to perpetuate toxic club culture in a town that’s so desperate for a stage that good bands can actually play on.

Just saw the sheepdogs here. Had a great time here sober. I was driving. Staff were friendly, line was efficient (no searching) but the staff would not accept any form of moshing or crowd surfing. Those people were instantly ejected.100% would go again $7 dollar beers and $5 energy drinks

AWESOME is all I can say. Great music hall and acoustic. Great bands play there
