Publican House Brewery & Pub

We went for the first time on the weekend and I was blown away by this restaurant. The atmosphere is two-fold: a friendly yet rustic-chic bar area when you first walk in, and then a cozy back area to dine at the tables. The kitchen is partially open giving you access to see the large wood oven where they make the pizzas fresh.The menu was great! Lots of options but not overwhelming. We ordered two appetizers: the dip trio and the Cuban egg rolls. The portion size is amazing and just the apps alone were phenomenal (I’ve never had Cuban rolls like this). We ordered the Nashville Hot Backdoor with a Moroccan salad (best choice) and the Brussel Sprout Steak Salad and it was literally likely the best dishes I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The Moroccan salad alone was so flavourful, not packed with a ton of different random ingredients so you could truly enjoy the flavours, sauce, etc. My sandwich felt like it was 4lbs and my husbands steak salad was crazy good and amazing portion size!!Our server Magda was so sweet and friendly, and made the experience all that much better. Honestly if you’ve never been to this restaurant this is your sign to do so. Will be back again (and again)!

Maybe I'm just not part of this new trendy thing, but I wasn't overly impressed with anything there. It looked awesome from outside. The menu looked sure to impress. Was a small menu, which should mean they do a great job on the food. I had the special chicken Sammy, and it was ok. The beer was not overly cold, more sort of warmish. I'm not saying it was bad, but for what we paid for our meals, it could have been better. The server was great. Food came out in great time. A small menu usually means they do awesome dishes. However we were not impressed with the food. Overall we will most likely not be back but don't let that stop you from checking it out.

Publican house is underrated!! The food is awesome. Huge portion sizes. I got the shrimp tacos and they were the best I’ve ever had. Beer is delicious- I loved all four kinds in my flight. Gorgeous patio and the service was spot on. My family will be back for sure!

Had a fantastic experience when we booked the upstairs space to host a private event. Food was fantastic, great selection of beers and drinks, and service was excellent. We can’t wait to come back!

First off our waiter, Mark, was an absolute rockstar- amazing service! The lamb burger and fish and chips are my personal fav. The lamb burger is soooo good, your eyes roll back into your head when you take your first bite. Also I would say - hands down the best place in town for fish and chips.

This was a big surprise for us. We were looking for a patio that allow dogs. Not only does their lower patio allow dogs, but the server brought out a water bowl for our pup as well as water for us. The food was fantastic. Our son got the kids cheese pizza, which was a very generous size. My husband and daughter got the burger, and they said it was one of the best burgers they’ve had in a while. I got the shrimp tacos and a side beet garden salad. This was delicious! Because it is also a brewery, their beer selection was wide and varied. We got their beer that gives back to a local animal shelter. I would highly recommend this place!

Nice venu, extremely extremely overpriced, a smash burger and fries for $25. Draft beer for $8-$10. Nope. I asked for I taster nope I had to buy a flight. I'm not into the gouging of food prices. I won't reccomend.

Just ordered a spinach dip for pickup. The taste is fantastic, the portion size is awful for how much it costs. There's a spicy kick to it which I personally love but if you don't like anything spicy, maybe stay away. Super disappointed with the portion size. The takeout container maybe has 1/2 or 2/3 an inch. Definitely not worth $20 for how much you get, almost seems like a rip off. Another redeeming factor though, the buttered pita on the side was super yummy and well made.

Fried chicken sandwich is exceptional ❤️ Beers are good. Staff is super nice. Not all items on menu are available, but that’s fine.Thank you. Will return for sure.
