I had the opportunity to try this restaurant for the first time today. The staff were phenomenal in making me feel welcome and provide an inherent sense of familiarity despite my first time being here.I'm not a sea food eater; however, I love halibut and chips. I found this place because of the closeness of my new home. I ordered online. Although I was late, they packaged the food as if there was no time delay preventing any staleness due to my tardiness.Halibut is a pricier in general for your typical fish and chips. They had a special that was of great value and very tempting. I only refrained due to minimizing portion sizes (for which the standard order is more than enough). The meal was exactly perfect for being take-out.I will be return customer for sure. I wish the staff and owners great success.

Definitely my fav for fish and chips in Surrey.If you don't know about this place, I understand as it is easy to miss and kind of just blends in. Honestly one of the best place to enjoy fish and chips.They had a special today for haddock and gave that a shot along with some calamari and clam chowder.Haddock was soft, doesnt break apart easily and was pefectly cooked. Best part was having chunks of haddock to dip in their tartar sauce. The crust was mighty crispy as well and makes the fish more enjoyable. I think their fries could be more crispy but, thats just me. Fries are not bad on their own otherwise.Also tried their fire dusted calamari. Not really as spicy as labeled and more like a warm spice. I don't mind it tho as its mainly more about the tender calamari. These were slightly better than their regular just because of the slight spice.Clam chowder was awesome. Probably my favorite from the order today. I love that it's got thicker soup and comes with chunks of seafood and veggies. Super creamy and a ton of flavor. I wish I'd gotten the large bowl.Staff is always very friendly and helpful.

Quite impressed with the food, fresh fish filete, fresh fried potatoes, showing that you can always keep quality without sacrifice price. Loved it, decor was just perfect, and the hosts were very attentive to me. For a street foodie guy, best fish and chips ever!

Food was delicious and there was plenty of it, I will say though it was very very greasy. Big portionsService was great, she was wondering why I wasn't getting the lemon whatever was called dressing and just threw it in for me, once I had it with my salmon I was in love with it. So much so I preferred it over the tartar sauce lolGot the food in good timing

Great tasting Cod, with minimal oil left on batter. Homemade tarter sauce which actually tasted good. The Clam chowder soup was fresh and thick. I would eat here again.

Ate here today and liked it better than all the other fish and chips places. Great service, they even brought a table out for me because of covid. Nice portion of chips but the cod piece was small. Definitely worth trying.

From time to time you find one of these gems, a small shop that provides the most amazing dining experience. Scott's Landing Fish & Chips is one of these places.Clean, friendly and the food was well-portioned for the price. The batter was not greasy and hiding a small piece of fish; in fact the cut of the fish was quite large and fresh and extremely flavorful. The homemade fries not over-salted cooked to perfection with skins on just the way I like them .The variety of dishes were quite impressive, add to the fact the owner said he makes all the sauces himself. He gave us samples of the sauces and his very own New England clam chowder. (Next time we go I'm ordering a big bowl of the chowder!)The coconut shrimp was sinfully good and keto-friendly for those following the keto lifestyle. I could've just ordered a few plates of those and been happy with them -- the balance of shrimp and coconut, pure perfection . There was an old style shop ambiance that took me back many years.This place seemed up with the times as we were leaving there was a Skip the Dishes delivery driver picking up an order. On our way out we noticed the sign clearly marked on the door as well for Skip the Dishes.This has become my new number one fish & chips restaurant.

Entering the place it will more likely to make you feel you are at the mom and pop business with friendly faces and greeting. I must admit I am not a big fan of fish and chips in general but when I get craving, this place visits my mind first and foremost. Price is ok. Batters are great and fish are chunky. Tar tar sauce is good as well. I don’t really like the neighborhood it’s located in but they definitely are a good food place ran by good folks.

We were craving fish and chips and saw this place on Google maps. We got the cod basket and it was delicious! The poutine fries were fantastic too. Everyone was so friendly and made us glad we happened upon this little spot.

Service was neighborhood friendly, not how one would expect from a 'chain' restaurant.The fish was a good portion the same size of the batter and not as some fish and chip restaurants the batter is greater than the portion of fish.The chips were good, but appeared to be frozen and not as some restaurants serve fresh cut fries.The price is a little higher than elsewhere, but not something that will prevent me from returning.All in all I'll be back.
