Calforex Currency Exchange-Vaughan-Vaughan Mills shopping centre

Called in and was told that they don't break large bills. Was looking to break some large euro bills, but couldn't do that unless I located my receipt that showed I was a customer in 2019 LOL. I understand they're running a business, so I was willing to pay for the service, yet it doesn't exist. You'd think a foreign exchange shop like this would offer a bill splitting program - even at a cost. Really let me down, will simply stick to my bank going forward.

Great customer service and knowledgeable staff! I came in to purchase USD and I was able to receive a majority of my money in small bills (which you cannot do at the bank without ordering). Way better rates than my bank, highly recommend if your travelling!

If you want to waste your time and bring you business to the company.who don't care of you as a client than you are in the right place. I purchase £GBP in this particular location, and even thought that they do have a specific return policy, teller refused to accept £GBP back and exchange them to Canadian $. No explanation, just a statement that I have to fly to England in order to exchange. 10 minutes later I exchange those £ at another currency exchange place, without any issues. I google and found out that paper £50 bills will not be longer used from September 30 2022. We are in September 20 today, so the money are still current.You just lost your loyal customer.P.S. if you for as a business owner are not accepting any type of currency that is still in use, you have to post it on your window, so people would not stay in a line wasting their time.

I have been frequenting the Calforex money exchange store at Vaughan Mills for about 8 years now, as I travel to Florida often on vacation. I frequent this store because I get a better exchange rate than my bank, and service is always been quick and with courtesy . However this past year 2023 every time I go there they ask me 40 questions in a very offensive way and they require identification even though they have my information and history on their data base. Also they ask me where I get my money from, I told them “MY BANK”, thaaa….!!! this is getting a bit annoying when I am only exchanging a couple thousand $Ca into $Us. I get less questions by customs when I cross the border…???? Also my Bank does not ask me all these stupid questions, like “what’s the source of the money”What’s with all the idiot questions …????Which takes for ever….!!!!I have gone to other money exchange places and are way more pleasant and treat me with courtesy, all I show them is my drivers license and they hardly ask me any other questions.So Calforex you need to cool OFF already with the questions, you are not a Police Detective….!!! and SMILE a bit not everyone is a criminal…..!!!!After all we are your customer….!!!!Thank you,And STOP Pissing off Seniors.

I have to say the service provided by Michelle and Natasha was outstanding. They were both patient, professional and considerate. It was a pleasure to deal with both these lovely ladies. Keep up the excellent customer service…

Bad service I exchanged CAD to US after changing it she gave me all 100 when asked if I can have smaller bills they said they don't have none they could of informed me before exchanging it last time I use them to exchang money was very disappointed and recommend not exchanging your money staff have very bad costumer service

Make sure you bring cash or they'll want you're entire life story. Address, phone number, where you work, etc. Won't let you lower the amount you request either. And be ready to wait for at least an hour as they are incredibly slow. I'd give 0 stars if I could.

AWFUL and RACIST experience. They didn't accept our cash just because we had dark hair and brown skin?! We showed our passport and they didn't even touch it as if there is a sickness in it. We only wanted to change $4000. Even though we are PR in canada and we proved it to them they didn't change our money and we couldn't buy anything from the mall and had to come back home empty handed. Awful awful experience.

I'm surprised with the lack of privacy. It's difficult for those behind the glass to hear what is being said. As a result, one has to shout out all personal information asked Infront of a crowd of ppl. Doesn't matter how much currency you are dealing with but everyone around sees your transaction. More privacy is needed and definitely some better customer service! Those behind the glass thinks that we definitely are helpless and are begging for their service. Talk about attitude. One is always told that you cannot have denominations.I suggest to all to go with Knightsbridge. They have the best rates and transactions are seamless all from the comfort of your home.
