The Emerald Lounge
I had the Nashville spicy chicken sandwich which wasn’t spicy at all, though well fried and came on a nicely baked brioche bun and was accompanied by really good fries.The atmosphere and service was top notch. I like this Fairmount location more than some of the others because it’s a little more laid back and matches the rustic nature of Jasper.The view of the lake from the restaurant is stunning and can’t be beat. The overall experience was 4.5/5.

The service was very friendly, and the dining hall is absolutely stunning! A great spot to grab a drink, even if you’re not staying at the hotel. The food was fine—nothing memorable—but the atmosphere was cosy with a great view of the lake.

The Emerald Lounge
We dined at the Lounge for dinner on our last night in Jasper. We both had steak and frites, a rare and a well done, and they were both terrific. We relied on Caitlin, our server, for recommendations on drinks and desserts and she nailed both. The baked cookie dessert is amazing! If you’re in Jasper, guest at the Lodge or not, you can’t go wrong eating at this historic gem.

One night had drinks at the Emerald Bar which were very tasty. Ordered nachos, pizza, and salmon as room service. Nachos were fine. Pizza was good. Salmon was perfectly cooked, but dish could’ve used more sauce. Room service was quick and helpful despite a room mix-up.

The chips are salsa we’re old and dried out. The buttermilk fried chicken was fantastic.I was very disappointed with those nachos.The server/hostess and team were super polite and understanding.The view was amazing as always.

Ate here for the first time on the weekend. We waited 20 minutes to be seated (less than 10 people eating in the restaurant) 15-20 minutes to be served or ever offered water. Another waitress then came over and offered to take our order after we submitted previously. Food took a long time and was tasteless. The mountain burger is $28.00 and not even worth $5.00. then we waited another 15-20 minutes for the bill until we tracked down the manager and he sent over a different server.So all in all, service was terrible, food was terrible and the staff don't make an effort. Weren't even offered a drink menu.Wouldn't go back

Great breakfast/brunch option. Convenient for hotel stays. Service was good, atmosphere is cozy and food is excellent. If you bring a dog, you can order from the menu and sit 'outside' the restaurant boundary and enjoy the food!

Had a great time here! Austin was our server when the 6 of us came here to warm up with some drinks. He was really personable and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy! Will come back and ask for him when we’re in Jasper again!

I had never left a bad review but dining at this restaurant was the worst experience I’ve ever had!! To start, the restaurant wasn’t even that busy but service was very slow. The food was mediocre at most. I asked if I could get the beyond burger on a gluten and dairy free bread, and our waitress said that I could. When my burger was delivered, it was served on lettuce. It’s fine to not have something, but I should have been informed. Had I known, I would’ve ordered something else. She could’ve communicated this to me, but she didn’t. Our food was served first but utensils were delivered 5 minutes later. Not that we needed cutlery, but napkins would’ve been nice. There was no wait staff in sight either. Most importantly they disregarded my gluten allergy. Half way through my meal, I was informed that my fries weren’t gluten free by one of their runners. He was super apologetic and brought a different order of fries which was also mediocre. He seemed to be the only person who actually cared. He gets the star. Our waitress didn’t even acknowledge this mess up or ask how our food was. She and the food get 0 stars. I don't even know why I tipped her. I would not recommend going to this place especially if you have allergies. They simply don’t care.

The view is spectacular! It was a bit smokey but still so beautiful.I got the great hall Cobb salad. The chunks of lettuces were hard to navigate but other then that It was delicious.My partner got the creamy cavatappi Unfortunately it was very bland like water cream and pasta. It had raw brussel sprouts that were hard. He did not like it at all. Even salt couldn't make it better.
