Asked him to sharpen 2 pairs of scissors and he said it would be ready that afternoon, 2 weeks went by and they still weren't done. He laughed at my husband on the phone for thinking they would be done already. We ended up picking them up and will find some place else to do them. Terrible service and poor professionalism.

Amazing sharpening shop. I brought a knife in to be done and it needed to be re-profiled because I snapped the tip off. You would never be able to tell that this blade had it's shape changed. Amazing work, amazing guy. Super fair pricing. Bring your blades here if you need them worked on. 5 stars all day.

The owner may be good at what he does, but his storefront demeanor needs a lot of work.I came in with a small need and while he said he would do it, his response and his timelines weren't what I was expecting. Worse yet when I asked if he knew of anyone else who could handle smaller jobs in less time, he was rather terse and simply said no". He then went on to tell me about how much work he has

When Barry found out that I lived 1/2 hour away, he sharpened my chainsaw blade while I waited. We had a great conversation and he has an interesting work experience as well as a strong work ethic. The saw blade? Never cut better even when new. I am sure he brings that expertise and pride to everything that passes through his hands. HIGHLEY recommended.

He had my reel mower for 3 weeks. Called about it twice leaving a message and received no return call. Finally connected and was told he may" be able to do it in a couple days. No apology for anything."

Just had my manual ice fishing auger blades sharpened at M&L. The auger is a finbore 3 which has large curved blades that need to be razor sharp. They did a great job and the blades are now as sharp as when they were brand new.Nice guy. Great price. Quality work. On time.

Absolutely BRUTAL human working here. He is basically a child in a man’s body who believes his customers should sympathize with him because “all the work he has to do, are you dense!?”, he said. He quoted me $25 on the phone, $40 in person and said it would be done in a couple of days. It wasn’t. No worries, just a major shuffling of plans and he would have it done next week. Not done. I kindly told him I understand how busy things can get but that I would come pick them up and said it was a good idea. I picked them up 3 weeks later and he decides to sharpen one of them, (he lost the other) after I told him not to and then charged me $50!!! He then wouldn’t give me the items back making more threats and name calling. This man clearly doesn’t know how to do business and the cops don’t even want to deal with him. Go to EDGE WORKS SHARPENING. That guy can actually form complete sentences and doesn’t cry because he has to work.

Dropped off a pair of scissors for sharpening a few weeks ago after my sewing instructor advised. I called 5 days later and scissors not yet sharpened and picked them up that day after he said he would do it that afternoon. I used them to cut out my fabric thinking they still seemed dull. Just last week my instructor used the scissors and said, 'You need to get these sharpened'.

We've been dealing with this company for years. Unfortunately, he is extremely busy, but accommodating. Had my knives and scissors sharpened, and extremely happy :)

I’ve been dealing with M & L for many years he makes me bandsaw blades sharpens my table saw blades and any router bits that may need sharpening. I personally have never had a problem with anything the timing is realistic and prices are very fair and quality is outstanding I highly recommend if you have any of the above needs.
