Rick Hansen Secondary School

My son goes to this school, he is in grade 11. He was complaining that he doesn’t understand math. The math teacher told him to go and get tutoring. When he went to the vice principal and complained, they did not do anything. My daughter had the same issue with the same teacher two years ago. All the students complain about the same math teacher and it is ruining future generations.

If you went to half of my teachers and told them I’m a university student now they’d all laugh in your face.Jokes on you. Have a great life.

Great school, challenges not only your intelligence but also your character and can make you grow as a person, which will greatly help you as you leave.If you put in a lot of work, you'll get a lot out of it.

The school was kept in great clean condition. Teachers, Guidance Counselors everyone was very helpful.

I wrote a very positive feed back before, i am about to change it, yes diversity and teachers are great, there are some rude teachers(very few). I got to say that some teachers, especially one of the librarians are very rude. I went down to get a Chromebook because of an emergency, my teacher had told me to finish the work asap. The librarian scanned my student id and she told me that I had some books which I had to return, I apologized and said I will bring it as soon as possible. But no, she had to interrogate me like I am a criminal and take 15 minutes of my class time in which I could have finished my work and not miss my lesson. I knew if i said something I would be straight in the office but overall this adds some negative points to the school. There are other problems as well but I will end my paragraph at that.

This school is not worth your time! The school administrators are nothing but disrespectful, and rude people running the school. They don't seem to care about the students, once you have your diploma, and want to upgrade your courses, they kick you out. They don't care about you after you have your diploma.I would high advise looking at other schools as this school is not worth your 4 years. They don't treat you with respect as a student.

It's good but some teacher are horrendously rude and think the world works in their way.
