October 2021. 4.5★ A small storefront located in a primarily industrial setting uncannily you stumble across a dessert/cake store. Honestly didn't know what to expect given the location, but reading the other reviews, I decided to swing by.The Raspberry Hazelnut Meringue cake is one that is recommended and most talked about by other reviewers. Given it'll be my first time here, I decided to try that. The owner did state that this cake was their best seller.The Raspberry Hazelnut Meringue cake comes out frozen. Defrost time in room temperature is about an hour. In the fridge, the owner says about 3 hours.The cake comes in 2 sizes, a 10 serving at $33 and 16 serving at $50.The appearance of the cake is honestly isn't that appealing. Cream and some raspberries on top. Leftover bits of meringue cover the sides.The Meringue is amazingly light and fluffy. The cake is not to sweet and the layers of meringue, raspberries and creme are a perfect combination. Just enough tartness and sweetness balance everything out.Would come again.

Ordered multiple cakes from Sweet-o-one over the last couple of years and they never disappoint! Everything from cake layers to frosting to fruit is always fresh and absolutely delicious. So far we've tried the Honeycake, Sugar plum and Raspberry meringue and all of them we're a hit!The prices are very reasonable and the quality in so much higher than anything you can buy from a large retailer.10/10 will buy again!

My go to bakery! The best European desserts ever! First I tried their Raspberry merengue cake on my friend’s birthday and it’s total winner! I wish I could try their other variety of merengue cakes, but unfortunately it was out of stock. Few days ago I ordered Old Prague for my dad and he loved it, saying that it tastes exactly like in his childhood. Also, I tried their eclairs, very fresh shell and a lot of cream, the pastry literally melt in your mouth. I highly recommend to try Cassis, Exotic Dream, Oeuf a la Creme, pineapple and raspberry mousse if you like airy and slightly tarty desserts. The owner and the staff are super friendly and helpful, you feel welcomed in their store.

Just the other day I asked my soon 15-year old what cake he would prefer for his birthday and he responded with Surprise me with a cake we haven't had before." As I brainstormed through all the options at our go-to cake destination "Sweet-O-One"

We got a meringue cake here for the first time and it was the best cake I've ever had, period. Not many places make crunchy meringue cakes, so I am delighted to have found a new place! Can't wait to try their other dessert options too!

The raspberry meringue cake from here is always a hit, no matter who I’ve served it to! It also makes for great leftovers, so buy a size up :) I’ve also tried the honey cake, and the plum cake - also excellent!!

Sweet-o-one is a great pastry shop and café with variety of tasty sweets and good coffee. With more than 40 years of history, owners are 2nd generation of the business. It is highly recommended to visit this coffer shop and enjoy its peaceful environment. Mr. Serge, owner, is very welcoming who comes with detailed information about each and every product. Must visit space.

This place is a hidden gem! The owner was very approachable -- he took the time to explain some desserts and gave recommendations, and the choices were all delicious. Full of flavour and not overly sweet. Can't wait to try some more.

Excellent vanilla/lime and raspberry lactose free birthday cake! My sister and brother in law surprised me with this beautiful but delicious birthday cake! I will definitely purchase from here! The cake was light mouse with great taste of raspberry lime and vanilla! Five out of five stars! It’s really hard to find great bakery that does desserts for people’s with dietary restrictions

THE place to go for meringue cakes. Our favorite is the Concorde White Chocolate cake and the baisers - can't believe they are both dairy free. They also have beautiful looking single-serving cakes. Their Napoleon is different from the usual napoleon - it is fluffier and less heavy, and we prefer this to the 'standard' napoleon.
