Ultra Stairs & Railings

Alvin and his team did an incredible job replacing our staircase and railing, which was a complicated job. Alvin was very responsive, professional and completed the job on time and on budget. He spent a lot of time answering our questions and helping us to choose the best option for our space, and the stairs turned out beautifully. I couldn’t recommend Alvin and his team more, they really do amazing work and are very easy to work with!

Alvin was very responsive to our request for adding a hand-rail to help my wife with the stairs during an illness. On-site visit was arranged quickly, accommodating our schedule, adjusted things as needed during the installation to align with the existing stairs, and cleaned up after the installation.No hesitation to reuse for other projects or recommend to others.

At first, Alvin was tough to get a hold of but eventually he came by my home, took measurements and went through the few ideas I had for indoor stair railings. He offered suggestions and spent time going through the inspiration photos I had and my options, and boy was he worth the wait. The railings came out even better than what I envisioned. Alvin is polite, hardworking and great to deal with, but sometimes good people can be terrible contractors too. That was not the case with Alvin and I would give him 10 stars if I could. He was clean, efficient, and cared thoroughly about his work. He told me he sometimes gets 50 emails a day and that's why he takes a while to respond because he'd rather do quality work than focus on quantity (and take on too many jobs). If you can get Alvin to do your railings (or stairs too), you won't regret it. His worker Kyle was a great also and you can see he has learned well from working with Alvin. Lastly, he gave me a timeline of 3-4 weeks for installation and he met that schedule exactly, and how many contractors does that happen with? Thanks for the great work!

Alvin did an amazing job on our stairs and with a faux wall made of oak. He was very professional and was very flexible to work with. I would highly recommend him for any carpentry services. He paid a lot of attention to detail and his pricing was very reasonable . Great quality work and we are very happy with the finished product.
