Word of warning to those looking to ask questions or provide feedback to Coach Franco.Our 9 year old son had been attending Coach Francos beginners class for 3 sessions and was signed up for fourth session starting in December 2022. He enjoys volleyball (like his dad) and liked to play however, he found the class lacking in skills development. He mentioned it was virtually the same program each night. I spoke to Coach Franco about the possibility of moving our son up to his intermediate level or improving his skills somewhat and Coach Franco mentioned that the intermediate level was primarily targeted at teenagers and our son would be too young. He also mentioned some other programs around the city that might be better suited.The winter session, starting in December 2022, would have been his final session with Coach Franco. In early December, after asking whether I would confirm my sons attendance for the spring session, I mentioned to Coach Franco that, for spring, we would be looking into some of the options that he mentioned to us to improve our sons skills.Imagine my surprise when, that evening, Coach Franco removed my son from the Winter session without any warning, refunding us our fees. This came as a surprise and a disappointment as, it would seem, the *only* reason our son was removed was due to us not wanting to commit to the Spring session. Our son, the youngest in the class, had already taken part in 3 sessions from Coach Franco and, though he was looking for more skills development, he was enjoying his time in the class.Needless to say we are disappointed in the decision and behaviour of Coach Franco regarding this incident.
