Can’t recommend highly enough the purchase of my outfit from House of Tartans. Pats knowledge and hand stitching craftsmanship in my opinion is second to none and the it was pure pleasure to go through the quick process to own an outfit of top quality that is made to measure.

I do not have a single bad thing to say about my kilt, or the service provided.I admit, I was sceptical about getting a kilt made in Peterborough, but I am so glad I did. The entire process was easy and the quality of the kilt is amazing, I can see it lasting several generations.

If you are on the hunt for a garment that is made to last a lifetime (and more) do not give Pat a miss. To say I am happy with the service and kilt I received would be an understatement.I have had nothing but compliments for the kilt and it feels fantastic to wear. So good in fact that I am actively seeking opportunities to wear it.Originally intended for a formal occasion I am now excited to wear it casually in the right setting (for example work).The full 9 yards makes for a weighty but satisfying kilt, and the deeper pleats give a full appearance.This is a tru heirloom piece that I fully intend to pass on when the time comes.Thank you Pat for allowing me to express my Scottish heritage with pride and respect to the traditional cottage industry of kilt making.

Pat is an outstanding Kiltmaker. She made me a MacPherson dress tartan kilt for my daughter’s wedding. Because of CoVID, the wedding was delayed and I lost even more weight, so she took it in beautifully. Every time I wear this kilt, the compliments flow it. I even get requests to wear it. I can’t recommend her enough and will get another one made soon.

Had a kilt made by Pat towards the end of 2022. Service and workmanship is first class. The kilt is expertly made - can't fault it and Pat was so helpful in her advice and recommendations both regarding the kilt itself and various accessories to go with it. From initially contacting Pat in October 2022, through the first visit to measure up, as well as the final fitting and collection in December, the whole process went without a hitch.As can be seen from the other reviews, Pat is friendly and welcoming and she clearly takes great pride in producing an excellent product that will last for years.Thank you Pat!

I couldn't be happier with my kilt from Pat and would highly recommend her to anyone looking to get one. She made my brother and I's kilts for my wedding a month ago and they were just perfect. The care and skill that has gone into making them is obvious, and they are definitely kilts to last a lifetime. Very happy!

We last used Pat and her husband Stan for a highland outfit some 4 years ago for a close friend. This time My husband Carl and I decided to 'gift' our 2 sons a formal outfit to reinforce their Scottish heritage. We had no hesitation whatsoever in commissioning Pat to make the full outfits from 'top to toe'. Her work is exceptional and of the highest quality. Pat simply cannot skimp on any aspect of the work and the phrase 'that'll do' simply does not exist in her mind. There simply is no other choice of Master Kiltmaker. You both deserve a long and happy retirement but you are just too indispensable to your clients globally to be allowed to have one - sorry.Just look at the attached pictures and tell me that it is not 'smart' personified.

We had a wonderful experience with House of Tartans Kiltmakers and Pat! We live in the United States and wanted four kilts for a wedding and had a pretty tight timeline. Pat was amazing to work with every step of the way! We loved chatting with her as we figured out the measuring and all of the details. She finished our kilts quickly and was able to mail them to us with plenty of time to spare! The quality of the kilts and other products she sells is amazing! Don't hesitate to order kilts from Pat even from the United States! She does a fantastic job!

Pat made us so welcome and made him a high quality kilt from the County Antrim tartan which looks beautiful and you can appreciate the hard work that gone into making it.

My dad and I recently asked for two kilts to be made for my sisters wedding. Neither of us had worn kilts before, and our experience with Pat at House of Tartans was fantastic. She produced for us one Fletcher of Dunans kilt for me, and a Welsh Williams tartan for my dad, which was apparently the first Welsh tartan kilt made by Pat. The kilts produced were extremely well made, well fitted, and comfortable, and received many, many compliments at the wedding. Pat had a wide array of additional kilt features (belts, buckles, singh dubh, sporrans etc.), and gave really good style advice and instructions on how to put on and wear the kilts. Unfortunately, the wedding photos are yet to be released, so I can't post any here, but needless to say, the House of Tartans and Pat are an amazing company of exceedingly high quality and craftsmanship, and my dad and I could not recommend them more highly.
