Every year greyhound's service becomes more and more abysmal heading up north to Sudbury from Toronto. Now they have gone and cut down service even more by cancelling the overnight bus up to Sudbury. Lots of us can't take work off easily nor afford to and need that overnight bus to get up north once we are done working our 9 to 5 jobs. Flying is out of the question for many of us as even the deals at Porter are not cheap and also many of us cannot drive so really on cheaper modes of public transportation. In my opinion, Sudbury should be listed as a major destination as anybody headed out west has to go through Sudbury. Greyhound should be treating these customers with a little more respect and keeping the overnight bus. Instead greyhound is treating Sudbury as a second class location and making it difficult for northerners to get home or travel for business. Greyhound should be ashamed of this. Not only this greyhound has a serious problem when it comes to its 4pm bus. I have shown up countless times and had the bus be late by 1+ hours or not even showing up. Whenever this happens non of their so called customer service people can help you or ever give you any information just aggravating the situation further. Shame on you greyhound. So let me tell you a story about a company with zero customer service.The express bus from Sudbuy to Toronto was late. Very late. How late? 4 hours late. Zero communication from the CS agent. He waited for people to come to him to ask questions, and proceeded to say there was nothing he could do, and wouldn't give refunds or exchanges, citing the policy about how late buses are not greyhounds problem.I'm sorry, but how is a late bus *not* their problem? Travel rely's purely on schedules. If something is late, how is that *not* a major issue?Anyways, this is a lesson on how not to run a company. Not only did their CS do nothing, people were getting very agitated and angry.The CS agent could have done the following FREE and simple things to earn respect in my books:-make an announcement that the bus would be late, ETA unknown, but would provide updates as he learns any information-when the bus finally arrived but needed to head to the garage for cleaning/refuel, make an announcement giving an update-knowing the bus would be late, ask passengers with any connecting transfers to see him to make the necessary changes to their tickets to change transfer ticket times-BONUS - offer water/snacks to passengers who were waiting for the busAny of these things could have been done and would have made the situation 90% better, but instead, nothing.The only saving grace was the bus driver was an awesome guy, but that is not enough to make me want to ever travel with Greyhound again.TL;DR - Bus was 4h late, customer service agent could care less, provided no information and no updates, would never travel again.

The employees are by far the rudest I have ever dealt with. The hours on the website are not even close to the actual hours at the station. The place is absolutely filthy. You may be better off waiting to use the washroom on the bus as oppose to the one at the station.

You can't contact anyone. The bus station is closed and you can't find out the hours of operation. When they say they are open they are not! A company in dire need of learning what customer service is!

I love that they have an express service from Sudbury and they are cheaper than Northland Ontario. However , sometimes they have breakdowns and it causes some major delays during those days. When that happens though, they offer coupon towards next trips for customers as their token of appreciation

Unfortunately when you try to call and get information you get a recording that they are closed. This goes on no matter what time you call. I would suggest that they either take the recording off and answer their phones, or remove the phone number from their website to avoid frustration and confusion for their would-be customers.

Called at 11:15am apparently their offices are closed wth sudbury pull it together. We can't even have a functional greyhound terminal?

Their website says they are open so we drove there to pick up our parcel and they are closed. Called head office and tell us it s open. Call the local number and it says they are closed. Wow!!!!

Very poor customer service.! Can’t charge phone , no wifi ,dirty washroom .! Greyhound is a joke ..!

worst bus company i ever seen. Always late, poor service dirty bus, broken bathroom. High price for no service. Complaint line never answers and bus drivers get lost all the time. Never ride greyhound!!!
