These guys are awesome. Jeff himself is an amazing and honest person and I couldn’t be more grateful that I found Smout’s Garage. I recently hit a raccoon that caused quite a lot of damage to my vehicle and he made time for it so I could have my car back before they closed for March break. Exceptionally fair prices all around.

Call ahead of time for the phenomenal mechanic! Had to replace my Mercedes sparks plugs, oil change, O-rings on the camshaft and right control arm. Car has been running smooth since the repairs, thankful to have a mechanic like smout!

Smouts is my go to VW expert shop, though they likely fix everything. Great service at sensible prices and very accommodating. Highly recommended.Update, went back today and he squeezed me in to repair my GTI. Great service, friendly place, lower cost than the dealer, I highly recommend Smouts for all vehicle service needs, especially all VWs.

This man is an absolute genius. Anytime I have an issue with my car, I call Smout and he knows what it is! Always looking out for their customers, charging extremely fair prices and they’ve never had my car longer than a couple of hours and had it back to me working perfectly. Even on short notice, they get it done fast and right! Absolutely love this place and would recommend time and time again. So long as Smout’s Garage is around, I won’t be going anywhere else. Can’t beat smart TRUSTWORTHY mechanics. Thanks a million for all your help over the years.

Jeff is very knowledgeable vw doctor mechanic, went there to fix bad vibrations on my 05 vw jetta stn wagon, after from my descriptions, he did test drive, and was sure about right front drive shaft, instead I felt left front side. In 1/2 hr supplied shaft was changed, price very fair, put my engine undercover, service so quick, good v. fair price, vibrations gone. I say he is best on the west"Thanks v.much again Jeff. Now I know where to go next time."
