I heard a loud ratting noise and feared the worst that my house was filled with guests.. Joel came within two hours of services and noticed there was no openings.. when I pressed for the noise he pointed my vent needed replacement.. I felt revived and when I asked for an bill/ invoice he said save it for next time.. thank you!!

Time will tell but our experience so far has been great. I phoned in the morning for an appointment and Joel arrived a couple of hours later. We had been hearing squirrels on our roof and it turned out they were nesting in an unused chimney. Joel quickly figured out the problem and provided pictures. He installed a one way door to ensure that all the squirrels left and then came back 2 days later and installed the final cover. Great job, very efficient and friendly.

After occasionally hearing loud chirping noises through the ceiling/outer wall of our home for some weeks and writing it off every time I finally saw what was going on. A family of birds had moved into a small sheltered ledge that wasn't visible from the ground under our roof soffit but I could see them flying in and out. I couldn't believe there was enough room for a nest up there as we have no attic but that's what was happening.A bit of quick searching for a suitable service that humanely handles wildlife (including importantly birds) I came to the logical conclusion that Gates Wildlife Control was the right company for the job.I called on a Sunday afternoon and left a message describing my situation and was contacted a short while later to setup the appointment the following day.Joel, the technician who came out to do the work was very friendly and was able to carefully remove the nest (no eggs/chicks at that point - they'd left already) and seal up the area that they had used for shelter. He also proactively identified and sealed up some other areas of concern around the roof and soffits which I appreciated.Everything was handled quickly and professionally and I am very happy with the service. If I ever have another wildlife problem I know who to call.

Our first night in our new home, we discovered an animal was trapped in the stove vent pipe. It turned out a squirrel had accessed the vent on the 3rd floor roof but gotten stuck. Jake from Gates was very professional and compassionate in locating and rescuing the squirrel, and more than a little brave getting up on our snowy roof to screen off the access point.It was an annoying way to start life in our house but we had a lot of confidence in Gates to sort it out quickly.

I emailed AAA Gates' Wildlife Control late at night, after hearing something running around and chewing on things on the attic. I asked for an appointment the next morning, and amazingly their Customer Care Centre was able to book a technician to come investigate for the requested day and time.Pete came by right on time, quickly did a thorough inspection and confirmed an entry point. He gave me a quote, detailing all the work that was needed. It is an old house, so there were a lot of places that needed to be sealed up to be sure that nothing could get in.Huge thanks to Jennifer in the office - so quick and friendly, she was able to get the work booked for the next morning, and even helped me apply a little coupon to the invoice.Pete arrived on time again, worked so fast and did a beautiful job. He even cleaned out a little section on the gutter for me with a mini tree growing out of it, while he was up there! Pete even came out to my top deck and sealed up a couple holes out there. He came back a couple days later to check and remove the one way door, and assured me that if I heard anything else, I could just contact the office and he would be back. Such a short turnaround from hearing a noise in the attic to having the work done!I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again for any wildlife removal, and I would ask for Pete.

Heard some noises coming from our attic. Called Gates, and they came over the next day to give me an estimate while I was at work. They told me what needed to be done and they came the next day to fix whatever issues needed to be resolved. One of the things they did was install a one way trap for whatever was inside (a squirrel) to get out, which they came back and removed two days later. Everything from he initial calls to the email correspondence to the personnel that came to the house was all handled with professionalism.

Called Gates’ Wildlife for a raccoon living under a section of our house and a possible squirrel in the attic. Nick was the technician on site and was very efficient in covering all areas from the roof to the ground. He answered all questions we had. The same evening we saw the raccoon come back and get her little ones out to find a new home. Nick came back the next day to seal off the area so no other animals could get in. We would highly recommend Gates’. Excellent work from start to end. Thank you!!

Highly recommended. This company successfully evicted the squirrels from our attic. They were a pleasure to deal with, responsive, honest and effective. So much more pleasant and honest than another company that gave us a quote. Stick with Gates!

Blake and his team, over several visits, provided skillful and efficient service to not only allow for the permanent and humane exit of racoons from my attic, but also patiently answered questions that I had regarding the process. They came promptly and the follow up and prevention procedures followed and implemented ,were excellent. I would highly recommend their services.
