Manoir Montpellier

Our family of 20 adults and 2 kids had an amazing time at the Manoir. The location is glorious with the beach and lots of space for everyone. We stayed for 5 days, taking up 14 rooms, and had the whole place for ourselves at all time....!!We enjoyed swimming/kayaking in the clean lake, seeing turtles and fishes, jumping off the dock, and swimming to the nearby island. We played lawn games on the big field, with spectators watching & cheering on the huge veranda. We did nearby hikings, and some made excursions to Montebello and Parc Omega. We had lots of family games in the dining room and game room. We had campfire and s'more time on the deck.Everyone had space to catch up and connect after the 16 months of Covid marathon. Everyone including staff are double vaxed and we felt comfortable that the staff had mask on for us all the time. We got to spend time with a Covid baby born Aug 2020, whom we never met until at the Manoir!! That was precious.But we all agreed the highlight of each day was the meals. Chef Gilles prepared amazing lunches and dinners for us everyday, which we eagerly anticipated. We enjoyed duck, lamb, pork, fish and beef... Every meal was excellent!! He catered to regulars and vegetarians alike. Bravo, Chef Gilles!! The meals made our trip very special, since everyone cooks almost every meal at home during the pandemic!!The new owner Sofia and her family did an amazing job in preparing the place for us, considering that they took over ownership just 2 weeks prior to our arrival. The place was probably not occupied most of the time before us during the pandemic, with lots of things needing repair or clean up (such as A/Cs, reception chairs, spa, pool table, ping pong table, patio umbrellas). However, during our stay, they fixed up the pool table, and the outdoor spa, so we were able to enjoy that during the last 2 days of our stay. They said they have plans to fix up the chairs in the reception in 2 weeks, which were in dire shape. We stayed during the heat wave with temp up to 31 degree some days, and with some A/Cs not working, it was a bit testy. But they got some working later, and have plans to repair the others very soon. We really appreciate their effort of trying hard.All in all, we had a wonderful time at the Manoir. The staff was the most kind and attentive, the meals delicious, and great space for all to enjoy and connect. We feel very grateful that it is the backdrop for our family get together. A great time was had by all. Thank you!

Daughters Wedding Weekend Aug 20 -22The Manor Montpellier was the ideal place to celebrate our daughters wedding with Shawn. What was really special was having both our families and friends getting together for the full weekend like a mini vacation after so many months of being locked down due to the virus at a beautiful auberge on Lac Viceroy one of the cleanest lakes in Quebec. We were glad we had a large tent installed on the deck to provide shade from the hot summer sun especially on Friday evening when we had a family barbeque. Sofia and staff did a fantastic job setting up tables everything we needed to do the barbeque. To keep us safe staff always wearing masks provided service of food and helped clean everything up so we were good to go Saturday morning for breakfast on the deck. Several guests enjoyed swimming, kayaking in the lake while others spent time around the cool pool and hot tub areas, lots to do at the Manor. We were very fortunate to have a hot sunny afternoon so our wedding was set up outside on the front lawn facing the lake which was a beautiful setting. Following the wedding ceremony Sebastien (former owner and now caterer) and his chef began serving appetizers and Sofia and staff served fantastic cocktails to start the party and after we had an amazing gourmet meal. On Sunday morning staff returned early and reset the dining room for a great Sunday brunch buffet style and all served by staff to keep us safe. In the afternoon several of the men went next door for a round of 18-hole golf on the Montpellier course another gem right behind the Manor. The ladies enjoyed the lake and pools for a relaxing afternoon after such a big weekend of celebration. The Manor was a fantastic place to celebrate our daughters wedding, offering very special meals and full use of their commercial kitchen for our additional meals throughout the 3-day weekend at this holiday style Manor. Sofia and family have begun their journey to further improve the facilities and we would highly recommend other families to consider coming to the Manor Montpellier to celebrate a family wedding or other family gatherings.

This is the most beautiful place for getting married, the owner are amazing and make you feel special, I really recommend.

Amazing venue to do weddings and events, great owners with the best hospitality. They make sure everything is perfect for you. Loved this place, they also have access to the lake and few other amenities to explore. Recommend them for sure!

This manor will give you the illusion of a grand place by the exterior, but don't let that fool you. The curtains and the showers are litteraly falling appart, the cleaning of rooms and the floors is to desire and there is no air ventilation anywhere, witch makes us feel like ripped tomatoes in a greenhouse. You can find better. If you still decide to come, the spa area is pretty cool, but it's not worth to come here in my opinion.

Need a weekend get away with peace and quiet with beautiful scenery of nature?Need a weekend full of relaxation in the spa with a nice canoe trip across the lake?Or maybe you just like to party, enjoy great music and dance the night away?Whatever activity you might want to explore the Manoir out has it for you.Clean rooms, great staff, spacious common areas with fun games and entertainment. Last but not least the cuisine that the chefs cook up for you whether it’s late night snacks or early brunch all the dishes leave you wanting to go back for seconds ;)

Amazing weekend getaway with family and friends. The owners were very welcoming and attentive. Loved the vintage and modern touch of the Manoir. It was home away from home. Everyone enjoyed themselves eating and dancing all night to wake up to a beautiful brunch. A one of a kind place to enjoy with loved ones.
