Elbow Springs Golf Club

I am not a great golfer and this course was a challenge. The scenery is beautiful and the course is excellently maintained. Lots of amenities and a very professional and kind staff.

Totally disappointed with the quality of the course, quality of service and the price.. Ridiculously price at 157 per person. We assumed that cart was included at 119 per person then to be asked to pay 25 plus tax for cart person is a little ridiculous. Service left much to be desired.

Will not be returning. Usually one of my go to golf courses. Unfortunately the last 2 times I have been there we have had to quit around the 13th hole due to extremely slow play. Teed off at 5:20 on a Wednesday and was already delayed 15 minutes on the first tee. Maybe a little better management of the times would be better! Also $50.00 for a cart rental is a little ridiculous!

Definitely one of my top choices to play golf in Calgary. Great deal for early play, 9 for $50 w/cart & breakfast. The course also always seems to be in great shape.Being friendly doesn’t seem high on the priorities of the pro shop staff though. Not bad service but I wouldn’t say they seem very welcoming.

Don't call the Pro Shop if you're looking to be booked in for a tee time. The pro shop staff first put me on hold for 30 minutes just to hang up. When I called back the staff member let me know the tee time I was looking for was available, but when going to book it suddenly wasn't. Place feels too busy" so ill gladly take my green fee elsewhere."

Not a great experience at all. As per comments below, paying $157 for a round is totally not worth it. Course is in terrible condition. Tee boxes are not repaired, fairways are not trimmed/ cut and the greens have dead spots all over. The pace of play is also painfully slow... We saw the marshal 2 times during the course of 18 holes and when we complained about the two groups ahead of us all she could say was, oh well... I've told them to hurry up... ok... have fun.. bye". Do not spend your money / time here

Nice course , was in very good shape .Challenging. Overall good experience

Setup was a bit confusing on where to go out of the gate. Like where to checkin to tee off. But once on the track it was a nice course. Intermediate and experience golfer had a good time, classic

Each hole felt like an eternity, with countless unnecessary delays sprinkled throughout. The absence of any marshals or course personnel exacerbating the issue only further demonstrated the apathetic attitude towards maintaining a reasonable pace.As the round trudged on, my excitement and anticipation slowly transformed into boredom and annoyance. The constant waiting between shots sapped away any rhythm or enjoyment that one usually derives from a round of golf. Instead of engaging in the game and appreciating the course’s layout, I found myself fixated on the slow-moving players ahead, longing for even the slightest glimpse of progress.To add insult to injury, the lack of proactive action by the management was glaringly evident. Despite multiple complaints from various groups of golfers, the situation remained unchanged throughout the entirety of my visit. It was a clear indication that the establishment valued revenue over the quality of experience it provided to its patrons.In conclusion, if you value your time and sanity, I would strongly advise against subjecting yourself to the agonizingly slow pace of play at this golf course. Golf is meant to be an enjoyable and engaging pastime, but at this particular venue, it transformed into an exercise in patience-testing frustration. Save yourself the torment and seek out a course that prioritizes pace of play, respect for fellow golfers, and an overall enjoyable experience.
