I was passing through Shellbrook for a work engagement, I stopped for a quick walk through. The store wasn't as clean as I would have expected and the experience was not 5 star but it wasn't completely unpleasant either. The Bigway in Shellbrook is about average.

Way too expensive. It's alright in a pinch, but I'd rather spend $20 in gas to travel to the city for groceries then to shop here. If you purchase from the meat department make sure you check for bad products before you get home. I no longer purchase packaged meats from here as I've had far to many bad product purchases.Update: The price is still high, however, the meat department has gotten a lot better in the 4 years since my first review. Still 3 stars though - just because it is expensive.

Just stopped in for a few items on the way camping. Friendly staff and fast check out. Little pricey but expected that since it's a smaller town.

Fresh baked goods made at the bakery.. They have fresh bread, cakes, and all kinds of deserts.. They also have Chester Fried Chicken in the store, too !!
