Holly’s Diner

This place is actually called Holly's Diner and it's very, very good, affordable and super fast. It used to be called Lang's but recently sold the snack bar/diner portion to Holly... Hence Holly's Diner" in nearly the same location. Lang's is now solely a marina and it's located on the water... As are most marinas."

Fairly priced food. inviting staff and friendly atmosphere. Great for a stop off for a coffee or while you're waiting for a ferry or bus.

Told the woman at the till 3 times I was allergic to tomatoes and was given my burger 20 minutes later with tomatoes and then told she didnt have enough time before the ferry to remake it. I asked how spicy the pickle fries were and was told they were not spicy at all so I ordered them. When I got them they were overcooked almost to the point of being burnt and had quite a kick to them. Place is close to ferry and convenient but they have no attention to allergies at all nor do they seem to care at all. Definitely wont waste my time here again.

I make it a point to stop at Lang's for a meal when either waiting for the ferry (if time permits) or having just crossed over from the east side. Good homecooked food, reasonable prices and a very nice view of the dock and lake. Be sure to stop by and have something to eat here.

They have a little kitchen right on board this little ferry! Seemed to have a huge selection and I saw fresh got crossed buns just taken out!

We were headed on our big camping trip for the year when we stopped in at Lang's yesterday for a late lunch after the ferry at Kootenay Bay. We were told to check it out by my spouse's friend at work, who said his brother owns it. So we decided to check it out. It was just after the 1pm ferry, so it was a little busy, but that didn't seem to stop the staff in providing personable and quality service. From the minute we walked in, we were greeted, and we ordered our food. The food served here is a casual diner-style menu, and oh man, was it the comfort food we were after! We ordered a poutine, chicken strips, and their spicy pickle fries". The poutine was amazing

The best Eggs Benedict anywhere! We have never been disappointed here! Beautiful view and great for watching the ferry come and go!

Excellent breaky, way above average for a diner style establishment. Will return if ever in Balfour area again, would highly recommend!

Excellent service, lively staff, great breakfast special and wonderful views. Best place for good eats before or after boarding the ferry.
