Slum lords. Charging a single father over 3000 in repairs for paint jobs and door repairs. House was broken into while i lived there and I paid for the repairs to the door outta my pocket. (I have receipts). Shower was either boiling hot or freezing cold and wouldn't fix it for 7 months until I gave my 30 day notice only for it to be rejected (as not enough notice) so I moved out anyways as i deemed it Was unsafe for my son as the walls started cracking from the building sliding so they replaced the sidewalks outside to stop the building foundation from sliding anymore. It is an unsafe place to live and I'm not paying for it outta my pocket and the RTA has already been notified.

Do not rent from them. Specially if you don't have the extra money. They charge late fees when rent is paid on time, they had my support animal taken away, even with a pet deposit paid. They still haven't replaced my oven or sent anyone to look at it. And when their files are not up to date, it's your fault. Absolutely DO NOT RENT FROM THEM.

this action property is unfair and not very nice. they will charge for cost not related to your aprtment when u move out be very careful they will charge u for damage that is not yours and when itcomes time to return damage deposit they will keep most of it. say its for cleaning bill they hang up on the tenants and discriminate. a small mark they charge. a 1000 dollars . pleaese very bad renatl place. manda and candy the supervisor. are not nice if they dont get what they want from tenants . .we are going to the renatl board to take further action on this ft st john action renatl. stay tuned for further updates.

Very sketchy place, avoid at all costs. Will nickel and dime you for almost everything.Charge a $50 water fee monthly on top of your water bill... Will fight tooth and nail with you over damages" which are usually considered regular wear and tear while rarely adequately repairing things when you have a tenancy with them. They are condescending and rude when inquiring about almost anything. Residential Tenancy Act in BC actually has stipulations about landlords being required to be polite and courteous to their customers which isn't the case here.Oh

Stay away from them if you intend to rent. They are unprofessional and have numerous hidden fees. They do not maintain their properties, and the majority of them are in disrepair. If you could give them 0 stars, you would be correct. They are also very mean and do not treat you well.

RTB branch rules are not followed in numerous subsections including but not limited to urgent + emergency repairs, repairs within an acceptable timeline / with acceptable requests within a timeframe, not replacing lightbulbs prior to new tenants moving in (yes, that's in the BC-RTA); the latter being a minor gripe, not a major concern. Most of the staff, however, are friendly and kind. Most of the maintenance staff was excellent, relaxed folk with a good work ethic. Public space maintenance was good. Didn't underestimate personal knowledge and were happy to discuss the issue at hand without disregarding your concerns especially if you knew exactly what was happening. However, as certain professionals in a given trade, they are specifically not given work orders to repair issues up to BC trade code standards. There were many hazards in my building from the contractors prior-to Action Property provided/hired repairs for the suite. The buildings are not managed by amazing standards, however I can't exactly fault a minimally staffed property manager for this. I can only fault them for excessively long maintenance wait times and/or missing important matters on maintenance/work orders or disregarding them entirely. The owners of the buildings are by far the worst part of the equation. The approved renovation contractors must have been the cheapest they could find. The renovations were bad, really bad. A 14 year old with a new fixation for watching YouTube renos would have performed the renovations much better, and that's even if you were the type of person to underestimate the iron will of a dedicated teenager. My building manager was kind, generous, and forgiving. My damage deposit was returned within the correct timeframe, and the charge for some cleaning that I didn't get to my own level of perfection was more than fair.Noise levels were well managed, if someone was completely out of line to the point where it impacted your sleep, the property managers took care of it.

If you are moving to the Fort St. John area, avoid this company at all costs. After giving them over 40 days of hand written notice on moving out they are now coming after me for an additional months rent, after keeping my damage deposit. My best advice is to keep every communication with them electronic and saved and backed up.This company is run by lairs and cheaters and is completely unprofessional. Terrible service and rude employees.STAY AWAY.

If i could leave 0 stars i would. Worst rental company. We moved and have had many people trying to take over our lease. So we sent them all to action property. Theres curretly around 15 applications. All for the first of augest that they havnt even gave a veiwing for. We have people msging us asking when they will find out....Action property has yet to get a tennent for our place and the audactiy to charge us another months rent even though we agreed they would take our pet deposit and damage deposit . and then we would be done our lease. They didnt hold up to there end and lied right to our faces after. Never rent from them , rather go homless then deal with them
