Had a great latte and Salmon Breakfast Sandwich here (the sandwiches are pre-made, but they heated it up for me). The breakfast sandwich is made of buttery, savoury biscuits which are delicious. Took some cinnamon buns to-go: very tasty (almost as good as my mom's... but that's a high bar). Reasonable prices. Sweets= yes! Savoury stuff= keep walking. Potentially the weirdest tasting lasagna, lifetime. 4/10, need to try the other locations before I write off the franchise

Absolutely yummy baked goods! Vegan options available too. Our favorite was the caramel apple crumble and chocolate shillings. The chocolate quinoa sandwich was great too.

Decent gluten free sweets. Their gluten free cheesecake is yum, though could be a bit less sweet so I won’t be back too often for it. The gluten free pizza is great to have as a reasonably priced ready to go meal even if they only have one kind and it’s veggie. Cute atmosphere and friendly staff. I wish they had more savoury gluten free things.

I’ve been here a dozen times with friends and it’s always enjoyable. They have amazing mochas and it’s what I usually get. Their croissants and breakfast sandwiches are definitely worth the try if you’re looking for something savory. All of their desserts are delicious. They are also open pretty late which can be nice after work/school.

Walked past the place on a lovely Monday morning and decided to give it a shot, I got the Italian sandwich with a side of potato’s. The server at the front was super lovely and really appreciative of a small gratuity, she serviced us to the tee and it was great, sandwich was a solid 8.1 with the sneaky banana peppers in each bite! I highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.

A tasty selection of baked goods, and lunch fare in a high ceiling large friendly open space. One long term staff member, in particular, here since the location opened, is helpful, efficient and welcoming.This is where neighbourhood locals and nearby office workers come to meet and enjoy comfortable food at lunch.

I wish I lived in Victoria just to go here. I had the breakfast sandwich and dear god it was heaven. The fresh baked scone crumpet thing it came on was delightful and rivals almost any breakfast sandwich Ive had thus far.We also had the dark chocolate cookie with spice and sea salt. It was the perfect embodiment of a Mexican hot chocolate and I am craving another. The staff was very pleasant and the cafe itself is cozy and clean. Highly recommend and will be telling everyone in Vancouver to visit .

Great little place with indoor and outdoor seating. Good selection of vegan food for a light meal. Terrific coffee as well. Say hi to Esteban as you walk in. I enjoyed the vegan chili w a gluten free bun.

Bubby Rose is the most predatory place I’ve ever worked.The owner constantly pays employees for less hours than they’ve worked. We had to add our own hours up at the end of every week and let the owner know how much we were underpaid. it was almost impossible to get him to write another cheque and some one of us were never paid at all for hours we worked.We had been instructed to re-use coffee grounds in customers drinks to save money, which we refused to do.During my time there, countless people were fired for no apparent reason. The owner always refused to give grounds for the termination when requested.My last week of tips *mysteriously* went missing after I exited.The entire staff is treated like garbage and expected to go above and beyond while receiving the minimum pay by law and never receiving as little as a “thank you” for fixing the owners mistakes.To support this business is to support workplace inequality.
