Apparently, the new hours are now from 5 PM to 8 PM evenings. I showed up at 6:40 PM and was not allowed to enter the walk-in due to “high-capacity“ although there were only 6 people in there. I tried to argue that there were only six people in there. How was that high capacity. I was advised by the security guard that they have urgent situations and I can’t go in. what kind of healthcare is this? There was no sign on the door. Just a security guard trying to make the rules. Shameful

Really disheartened to see this clinic is also now only offering care to patients with a family doctor on site. This was my most relied upon urgent care clinic when myself or my children were sick but non-emergent, and now we don’t really have anywhere else to go. We always found the wait times here exceptional and the staff attentive, but unfortunately this review does not reflect that because of these new rules.

This clinic was so amazing the doctors here really listen to your needs and concerns. Also the nurses are friendly and very helpful. Receptionist was nice as well, very easy to check in. Throughly impressed with the care and service, I think all the staff here deserve so much respect and appreciation for their hard work ♥️

Always call and confirm that x-ray dept. Is open!I came in on a Monday to get my sprained ankle checked at. I couldn't get an x-ray done as I had checked in outside the x-ray hours of operation. Ok, no problem. The doctor advisede me to come in the next day anytime before 4 PM to get an x-ray. Also note that that the website said it would be open on Tuesday.I come in early morning and try to check in only to find out the x-ray dept is closed. The receptionist there wasn't particularly friendly and told me to go to Oshawa Clinic at downtown for the x-ray. I didn't believe her so I decided to call and confirm if the x-ray dept. is actually open. Turns out they are not open either! The Taunton health center was open thankfully and in the process of doing so, I find out that the x-ray technicians rotate between the 3 clinics (Courtice, Oshawa, Taunton).Look, I can understand if there's shortage of qualified personnel and them having to rotate between clinics but the x-ray availability needs to be communicated to the patients. The website only shows hours of operation and the doctor is working off the wrong information. There needs to be better communication and coordination.

Used to be my go to clinic. Looked up hours, said it was open and not busy. Get there to find out that it's closed Mon-Fri. What's the point in having a walk-in clinic only open on weekends? This walk-in services south east Oshawa and Courtice. That's a lot of people that are not being provided adequate care because of incorrect open hours.

The nurses at the walk-in clinic on the main floor are unnecessarily rude to people. I had to pay for a doctor's note and I was told I had to pay it at the reception desk at the walk-in. There were 2 people waiting to be seen by doctors and I was the only one in line, so it was not busy. The nurse at the desk looked at me and made eye contact but did not acknowledge me. She got up and left her seat at the reception desk and went about filling drawers with supplies while I waited in line for 6 minutes. Then when she finally found the time to help me she didn't call me over, she just stared at me... no words used to let me know she was ready. When I approached the desk she told me to swipe my health card. But I didn't need to because I just wanted to pay for the note. When I told her that she looked annoyed, told me to come to the side desk and proceeded with my transaction. It took less than a minute. Despite being kept waiting for 6 minutes unnecessarily for a one minute transaction, when I was leaving I said thank you and wished her a good day. She said nothing. No response. Just rude. No compassion, no basic common courtesy, nothing but rude behaviour. ALL of the nurses I've encountered at this place behave like that so I can't even say that this one nurse might have been having a bad day. I think that if you go into this field, it's assumed that you want to help people. If that's not the case, then find another job where you don't require soft skills and you don't need to interact with people. Often, people coming here are not feeling their best, and the nurses here should understand that a little compassion and kindness would go a long way. However, they don't seem to understand that, and that's really sad. I would suggest that the nurses at this particular walk-in clinic be retrained on their soft skills. Or, they should just find another type of work.

Great clinic. Never had a problem at the walk-in clinic. Always treated with respect. My family doctor is fantastic, caring and compassionate.

Absolute garbage clinic, says the place doesn’t close until 3pm, showed up at 2:20 with a sick baby and was turned away by a security guard saying the clinic was refusing to take her. Avoid this place I could only imagine what type of service they provide if they are turning away sick babies under 1.
