I am over the moon happy with the results and responsiveness of the team at Secure Data! I am a photographer and I had a lot of important images on my hard drive, I dropped it and there was actual physical damage to the device, geek squad told me I was doomed. No chance of recovery. It wasn't until my husband found out about secure data recovery that changed my world. Luke from Secure Data day after the drop overnighted my hard drive to their company where they took action on it right away! I was very anxious and called often, every single time the team at secure data put my mind at ease, updated me and informed me they were doing everything they could. Although a very EXPENSIVE repair! it was well worth it! You can't put a price tag on important files and the team at secure data deserved every penny. I hope I never have to call secure date again as I hope this never happens again, however I will forever recommend them and their services. The experience is a bit surreal, losing this record of your efforts. In this case, it was all personal- mostly a record of my wife and I's life since we met in college almost 20 years ago. It doesn't put you in a great position for negotiation, so confronting that is a necessary part of the process. Jonathan was who I was in contact with initially, and that relationship survived the entire process. He was quick to respond, detailing the next steps and the reasoning precisely. Everything had a nice pace as the steps unfolded towards this relatively favorable outcome. Of all the images and video, only about 300 MB was mechanically damaged- mostly textures and 3D models from some hobby work. There was some misunderstanding about the pricing, but it was resolved in an agreeable way. I felt the relative cost was appropriately punitive for my carelessness in not protecting media I valued. If I'm ever in a similar situationn, I would have no problem revisiting Jonathan and his services.

I can't say enough good things about Secure Data Recovery or my customer service rep, Timothy Rutan. They work incredibly quickly, recovered two hard drives' worth of priceless (to me) data that I thought I'd lost permanently, and were extremely accommodating on price, to boot. Fast communication and five star work. Use them -- no one else.

I thought I had lost all my photos and videos of my two daughters after my phone crashed and wouldn’t turn on. I had already brought my phone to two different places without any successful repair or data retrieval. I inquired with Secure Data Recovery as a last ditch effort, and Jonathan called me within minutes. He answered my questions promptly throughout the process, and in the end, I got ALL my data back! 100% recommend over and over!

Rob Anderson was a great help. I was sent the quote to fix my hard drive and Rob called shortly after and explained everything to me. I was a bit shocked by the price, BUT it is worth it knowing that these guys know what they are doing. I am not moving forward with Secure Data right now because of the price, but as soon as I have the funds for the fix, I will be contacting them to be the ones to fix it. It was also nice that when I decided to wait to have it fixed, Rob was not rude about it. He tried to offer a few options and was still willing to help. I really appreciated that. I was glad to find Secure Data to handle my hard drive issues. I ended up having a read/write issue with one of my external hard drives and Secure Data Recovery was able to diagnose the problem quickly, efficiently, and move on with the recovery process, all the while providing updates every step of the way. It is a costly process, but when your data is on the line, emergency, personal, or otherwise, this is the foremost resource. I dealt with Rob and he was able to not only set up a baseline for the process, but answer all the questions I had as well.

I had both a dated and inoperative desk top and lap top computer that I was interested in recovering the data from. I made an appointment with the Geek Squad at Best Buy, which advertises it does such work. During the course of my appointment with them they said they couldn’t do it, but would send it out to a third-party vendor and it would take possibly months to get the work done. Best Buy did remove the hard drives from the two computers for me and I left in search of another vendor.Fortunately, I called SECUREDATA, Inc. and talked to Data Recovery Specialist Scott McMacken. He quickly provided me a location near me where I could immediately go and drop my two hard drives to be shipped for cleaning and recovery by SECUREDATA. Throughout the process Scott provided emails and phone calls to keep me informed of the progress. Anytime I would leave him a voice mail message with my Case Number he would in short order return my call to answer any questions and provide an update. The good news was at the end of the project I received a new hard drive with the proper connector to bring the recovered data to my current laptop.Quite simply, I can recommend to anyone in a similar situation to contact SECUREDATA.
